I have been noticing now that my belly is giant that it often looks different from day to day. Did anybody else notice this as often as I have?My last ultrasound 4 days ago the boys were both head down and my belly looked very different (fluids were great), last night I went into L&D for terrible pelvic pressure, sharp pains up the back of my ribs, and terrible lower back pain with sciatica on the left side . The boys had moved into a position where their heads are scalp to scalp at my belly button and each of their bodies is going into one side of my rib cage. The doc is pretty sure that this is the cause of my discomfort since urine, babies, BP, fluids, all were wonderful. Did this happen to anyone else where a sudden position change could cause so much pain? What did you do for relief? My OB says no Ibuprofen, Tylenol only and that doesn't seem to help!! How long were your babes able to pull off these manuevers? Since last night my stomach looks like it has changes already and most of the pelvic pressure has been relieved. Tell me about your experiences with your little gymnasts, would love to hear!!

We have TTTS, so my donor baby found a little spot head down at my cervix) by 28 weeks and has stayed there. My recipient has had more "swimming room" and FINALLY picked a spot to stay (head down too) at about 31 weeks.

My belly has literally been like a basketball. I carried my singletons that way too. Fortunately, my height helps with the breathing/rib pain issues.

I have had pain/discomfort briefly on occasion when they were moving around more. I've been on bedrest, so changing positions would sometimes help alleviate the pain and encourage them to move. Even now, I'll have a day or two of pelvic pressure, but then the next day, I'll feel alright again!

At 20 weeks I never really noticed that shape changing all that often, and it never caused that much discomfort. Now, however my stomach changes shape hourly- you can see the babies heads and limbs sticking out- and yikes does it hurt! I actually wanted to cry tonight at dinner because baby A was moving so much, it was so painful due to the lack of room (I'm 5'1''). I guess I started feeling this way at about 29 weeks or so. If you think your belly is huge now, just wait :p Good Luck to you!

There are some days when I have problems with my sciatic nerve and I almost always have a lot of pressure, but my tummy always looks the same.....Huge LOL

Between 25 and about 32 weeks, my belly changed a lot because they kept changing positions. Baby B has so much more room and she moves around more, but is still pretty much in the same position... but my belly has been making FUNNY shapes over the past few days! The other day I was having my NST and I swear her little butt was humped up because I had this huge lump on my belly. It was funny!
