I am a new member, not sure on where to ask questions yet but hopefully someone can answer?

This is my first pregnancy and my husband and I found out at about 11 weeks that we're expecting twins. About a month ago we found out they are both boys due Feb. 13.. we are both nervous and excited!

I just had a check-up and my doctor said I am measuring at 35 weeks and I am only 24, he scheduled my ultrasound and said he would tell them to look for another baby! Yikes... is this possible? I was wondering what the "normal" measurement of 24 weeks would be for twins?

If anyone could fill me in I would love the info! Thanks

Congratulations on your twins and welcome!!!:) Measurements sound pretty normal with twins...I always measured around 8-10wks ahead which was fun bc my sis was due 8wks before me LOL:) So my last measurement before I delivered at 33wks I measured 42wks:)

At 24 weeks I measured 38 weeks. So it's definately possible.

HI, I ALWAYS MEASURED ABOUT 8 WEEKS AHEAD,. WHICH MY OB SAID WAS TOTALLY NORMAL. THEN SOME WEEKS IT WAS MORE OR LESS. I AM 36 WEEKS NOW AND FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS I HAVE REMAINED AT 41 WEEKS.

    at 16 weeks i was measuring 20
    at 20 weeks i was measuring 26
and then my memory gets fuzzy
but when i delivered at 38 weeks, i measured 58 weeks!

we always jokingly asked at each ultrasound if there were still only two babies, there were always 2!

I measured 40 weeks when I was 29 weeks along. So yes it's possible. I was measuring only about 6-8 ahead until 26 weeks when I jumped to about 10 weeks ahead.

I have always measured about 10-11 weeks ahead so definitely possible! I wouldn't worry too much. :)

I have consistently measured 4-6 weeks ahead... usually 4. Awww that makes me feel small. :( I want big babies!

I only measured 5 weeks ahead when I delivered at 36 weeks and my girls were 5 lbs 7 oz and 6 lbs. They weren't huge, but they were healthy and had one leg roll :)

Its questions like these that make me appreciate the fact that I blogged all through my twin pregnancy :)

    At 15 weeks I measured: 20
    At 28 weeks I measured: 35
    At 35 weeks I measured: 45

and after that we stopped measuring. I was induced at 37 weeks :)

At 20 wks my wife measured 24, at 24 she measured 29, and at 30 she measured about 36/37. Each ultrasound has shown right down the middle size measurements for the babies.

It's normal to measure ahead... and I guess it's different for each person. I also feel small, like Jennaenglish said. I'm 32 weeks measuring at 35 weeks. How are my babies fitting in there!! OMG - they must be so cramped because I had a growth check last week and both were 3 pounds 12 ounces. So, I'm guessing they are about 4 pounds each this week.

At my 29 week apt two weeks ago I was measuring 38 weeks.. Today at my 31 week apt I'm measuring 42 weeks pregnant, and I lost 2 lbs.. I can't wait to see how much I measure at the end!
