    Been thinking... :umm:

At what week in your second trimester did your belly expand & become bigger?

I've been measuring my belly every month, and I've only increased by 2cm since last month.

When can I expect my belly to break the record by becoming so huge I can't hardly move? Only towards the end of the third trimester?

Hope these questions don't sound silly...

Not silly...I had a HUGE growth spurt starting around 22 weeks. It seemed like I grew overnight.

I really noticed a big change in the size of my belly at 30 weeks. It suddenly became very uncomfortable, even painful at times. Now at 32 weeks I can actually feel my skin stretching and the weight of my belly is starting to make it difficult to get around. I try not to think about the fact that I still have at least a month to go!

I had a big growth spurt around 25 or 26 weeks and I only thought I was big before. Now I get the when are you going to pop question all the time because people assume I am full term. Enjoy still being somewhat comfortable while you can! :p

I am 32 weeks and it really has just been over the last few weeks that it has gotten to the point where I am really uncomfortable. I kept thinking I was uncomfortable before but now I really feel it. It seemed like around 26-28 weeks I went through a big growth spurt. Now I have a really hard time sitting upright at all and an even harder time being on my feet for any length of time without getting major swelling in my ankles. Enjoy the small grace period :)

I just started feeling really uncomfortable and last week was the first week I really started getting big. I wouldn't worry about it - everyone's really different. I see some pictures that other posters put up and I look lots different from them. Try not to worry too much about it. I used to wonder when I was going to get "really" big and now my DH and I laugh when I say "remember when I was worried about getting big?" That's now that I have to pee three times/night and I can't get out of bed any more - I really just roll out.

I'd say after 28 to 30 weeks is when I really started getting uncomfortable. Probably because that's the point (28 wks.) when I started measuring full term. It IS really hard to roll over in bed and get up...or just get up off the couch! I'm sure you'll start to grow fast from here on out.

I started feeling it about two weeks ago-26 weeks. My belly button feels like it's been ripped apart. My dh and coworkers started making comments around then as well, that I was 'big' in the nicest meaning possible.

I thought I was huge all along, but then around 33/34 weeks :icon_eek: You can see a big change in size even in the pics I have. That is when I started to feel uncomfortable and my belly popped way out! I still get back pains looking at those pictures.

I am with AimeeS and Raneysmama on this one......I am just reaching the 30 week mark and everything is getting tougher. I am a determined person, so try not to let my pregnancy hold be back or stop me from doing anything, but just recently I feel beat....especially in the evenings. My stomach has grown quite a bit in the past 2 weeks that at almost 30 weeks people are staring and asking me if I am due any day.

I just finished my 34th week and I'm finally UNCOMFORTABLE!!! As soon as I get comfy enough to fall asleep, I wake up to go to the bathroom :). Enjoy your sleep now!

Well, I am nearly 29 weeks and things are really getting very uncomfortable for me now. Just over the Easter weekend, upon returning to the office, my co-workers said, "You look like you grew over the weekend!" So I think now is when things will really start changing...for the worse, I'm afraid! I'm uncomfortable just sitting in this chair right now...uggghhh!!!

I think the position of the babies makes all the difference in the world...at 31-32 weeks I was absolutely miserable and felt huge but I had one vertex and one transverse. this week they are both vertex and I feel more comfortable. The position also effects how big you look.
