Belly Button

So my hubby thinks my belly button is going to pop out. It did not with my last two pregnancies. He said he is noticing a almost on a daily basis that is getting more and more sallow. I have to admit this kind of freaks me out lol If it does pop out does it go back in once the babies are born? I read where some women will put tape over it so it doesn't look obvious when wearing clothes. Don't think I would do that, but I don't know, just seems strange to think that at some point I could have an outie.

Mine never popped out, but it was definitely flat. My DH also swore that it was going to pop and it never did... My mom had twins and hers did pop out with my brothers, so I think its different for everybody.

 

Mine is looking awful close to popping out too! I am hoping that I can make it till the 28th (my c-sect date) without it changing much more - it kind of freaks me out at this point to even look at my belly button!!!!

Mine popped weeks ago! It's pretty obnoxious It happened with son too, but not until the very end and yes, it went back to normal afterwards!! One of my babies kicks me right under my belly button and it's the strangest thing to look at, it looks like a foot is going to come through it!

 

Mine popped out about 2 weeks ago. No big deal. It will go back. I am not worried about it. All my friends had theirs pop out too and they look normal now...

 

I got to 38 weeks and mine never popped unless I laughed! It was flush at the end! I was waiting and my dh was watching, but nope. Never popped!

 

almost 26 wks and mine is just beginning to nuge its head out! Popped a little with last preg, but went back in.

 

One of the girls I worked with had hers pop at about 7 months. I don't remember if mine did with the other two it has been so long. Mine now is just starting to flatten out, it is still indented a little. My DH thinks it is cute. He also asked if it pops when the babies are ready, how funny is he. I watch for changes all the time. It doesn't freak me out though, it is normal and it does go back to normal from what I hear.

mine is very shallow and i think its going to pop before i pop but hoping it just is flush by the end haha

 

Mine looks mostly flat but you can see it popping underneath clothes...this started around 28 weeks for me

 

Mine just never seemed to pop out at all.

 

Mine is sort of half in and half out. its totally weird. of course, it was totally weird even before I was pregnant (shaped like the letter "T") so, why should anything change?

 

I popped at 28 weeks - my 16 month old thinks its HILARIOUS to poke at it with her finger! It popped with her too, and went completely back to normal. If only I could say the same for my abdomen!

 

Mine popped with my first, and it's flat now. I'm sure it will be popping any week now, but it went back to normal the first time, so I'm sure it will this time too. I was even able to put my navel ring back in after first baby.

 

I went to 38w 2d and my belly button never popped out... or even flattened!!!

 

Mine didn't pop out and I went 39 weeks. My friend popped with all 3 of her singletons and it went back in each time.

 

My belly button has become an outie but sometimes it is flattened. It depends on what position I am in sometimes I think. I am hoping mine goes back to being an innie when they come out because I prefer my innie I miss my innie lol. I am one of those people that have the line going down the middle of the belly as well. Apparently not everyone has that line down the middle of the belly. Now that line appearing out of nowhere one day was a bit of a freak out I was trying to wash it off until my mum said that it won't go until after I give birth lol.

 

Mine slowly started popping out over time until it did finally pop in the third trimester. It's back to being an innie though.

 

i'm pretty sure mine is on it's way "out," as well. the hole has always been really deep and you could stick a finger in up to the second knuckle. now a fingernail is barely covered, so i have a feeling it'll keep getting more and more shallow--until it pops!

 

I must be odd ball out. I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and my belly button has been popped out for weeks. It popped out last pregnancy too, though much later. After it popped out it stretched out and I had a tiny crater where my belly button was. Thankfully it went back to being as normal as it could with being stretched beyond belief. I'm sure I'll end up with the little crater again come the end of this pregnancy.
