Belly Band/Support

I bought a Boppy lg/extra large belly band at Babies R Us. It does not fit! Ahhh!

So- I am now turning to online options.

Please help me and share some good options...

I am 25/26 weeks and VERY suprised at how I am hurting already.
Is this normal? I seemed to suddenly hit the point where I can't sit on chairs for very long, etc.

It is not my back- it is my pelvis, pelvic bones, hip joints, etc.

I am really uncomfortable and I am not even at that 28 week point yet.

I just found out Thursday that my due date is actually a week later than I was expecting as well- (7/12 instead of 7/7)
I am nervous about how I am going to be functioning at the end!

Actually just realized the band is M/LG. Not LG/XLG. But it said prepregnancy size 14-20 and based on that- it should have fit me.

I just have the belly support belt I got it on amazon but I mostly had lower abdomen pain when I got it now I have the pelvic bone pain! But they make those pelvic girdle things that's probably what you need to look into because it also goes between your legs. But trust me any support helps I got my belly one at 22 wks I don't even go to the grocery with out it! But I can't sit for long periods with it though it pushes them into my ribs then!

 

It sounds like relaxin has hit your joints earlier than it should, causing them to loosen before they should. A good support brace (maybe the prenatal cradle) would help and so would the care of a chiropractor who has experience with pregnant women. Relaxin hits me early, did with my singleton as well, and mine has helped me so much that at 35 weeks pregnant and only 4'9 I still haven't needed official bedrest!
