I used a bella band with my regular pants till i was about 18/20 weeks pregnant when I finally made the jump to maternity pants. I loved it.

I had a knock-off version, but loved mine. It was great for those in-between times. If you're worried about fit later on, maybe get a larger size. But mine does stretch pretty good.

I borrowed one from a friend. She didn't like it, but I wore it every day. I think the one I have is from Motherhood. I like it because it helps keep my pants up. Of course, now I only use it when I go to the doctor since I'm pretty much wearing sweatpants every day since I'm on bedrest.

I had the knock-off version from Motherhood and have to be honest, I didn't like it at all! Most of my pre-pregnancy pants were low rise so that could be why? But I also didn't like having my pants unbuttoned and wearing the band, I felt like it kept falling down. Just my opinion though, others seem to really like them.

I didn't have this when I was pregnant (were they around three years ago?), but my friends who have them swear by them. I just think that the Bella Band would have worked well with the under-the-belly maternity pants I had. I hated when my belly showed and it would have given me a little extra protection...even worn with maternity pants and not regular pants.

By 26 weeks or so, I had the full belly panel maternity pants and I liked those way better. Felt silly in them, but at least they stayed up!

I have one and I liked it to hold my maternity pants up for when I was too big for my regular clothes but too small for maternity. I don't think it really offers any support though, but it is good for holding up your pants!

I should mention that my prepreggo size is a 16 so it's not like I'm a skinny girl by any means, that is my main concern. :p

Dani- my pre baby size is the same. I didn't use the bands to keep my pants up- I use it to cover the space between my jeans and the maternity shirt since it seems that most maternity shirts are already too short. I love mine and wear it almost every day.

Thanks Cynthia, that is my basic thought, to fill in the gap!

I bought a Bella Band a few months back and its been an essential to my wordrobe. For the past month, my maternity shirts aren't covering me enough, so with the bella band I get to still wear my shirts and the band fills in and covers my lower belly so I am not self-conscious. I highly reccomend it!!!

I had one that I wore from week 8-13. Now, I'm wearing maternity since they are more comfy, although they are even a little big on me. I liked it ok. It would bug me sometimes. But now I'd much rather wear maternity pants that are just a tiny bit too big - it's more comfy and easier when you go to the bathroom!
