I am thinking that there is only one in there because of how I am not as bloated or showing as fast as I did with the twins and then because when she felt me at my appt she said I was measuring just right for where I was. (When the ob checked my uterus with the twins he thought I was 2-3 wks further then what I really was.)
I have to remind myself of why I am not showing quite yet or why I am not as sick just yet, etc. lol!
I go for my first u/s on the 4th to see how many are in there.
Was this your experience with having a singleton pg after a twin pg? Or could there still be two in there even tho it just doesn't seem like there would be?

    Congratulations!

I found being pregnant with a singleton to be soooo different than being pregnant with twins. I actually did show early with my 1st singleton (I was almost convinced there were quadruplets in there :)) but the pregnancy itself was smooth sailing. With this 2nd singleton, I didn't really show until after 20 weeks and we're still complication free.

Compared to all the complications with both me and the babies that I had during the twin pregnancy, having a singleton is like night and day. I wouldn't want to be pregnant again with twins but being pregnant with one is, comparatively, a piece of cake.

    Congrats again!

My pregnancies were different, but in some ways the same. I never had any morning sickness with either one. I think my age and chasing twins around caused more discomfort in my singleton pregnancy. That and those stupid yeast infections I got every month! Anyway, I did feel more bloated and huge early on, but then found out it was twins again. :shok: I can't wait to hear the update on the 4th. You never know!

Uh-Oh, now I'M getting worried...I'm only 8 weeks along and I'm already in maternity pants! I kept telling myself that it's normal to show earlier in your second pregnancy...but maybe I am having twins again  I have my first midwife appointment on Monday, and am going to request an ultrasound for soon after to see how many little beans are in there!

I'm 14+ weeks and suddenly really looking pregnant. I've been wearing soft pants for months because I couldn't stand anything on my stomach (m/s!), but didn't need maternity pants. I pulled out some maternity pants yesterday but they're from my twin pregnancy. I weigh more than when I was pregnant the previous times so don't have pants from then that will fit, but these are too big and won't stay up. I know I've only got one inside, and I sure feel BIG, but I guess the pants don't lie, LOL.
