    Hi ladies.(and Gents)

I am looking for a speaker for my Mothers of Twins Club. Long Island. My 1st choice didn't work out. I want to provide our members with good advice on all matters of discipline-without yelling.

Does anyone know of a behavior modification or parent effectiveness trainer who would be willing and able to speak at a club meeting.

I would also love any recommendations from anyone who attended any really useful training sessions for parenting at school or scouts or church or temple.

    I am thinking about February 15th 8:45-9:15ish
Thanks, in advance for any help.

I appreciate your concerned help in all matters of twins. I have always gotten such great assistance from this site. Now I am trying to give back at my club as a planning coordinator.

    THANKS :) :)

Hey mods, can someone sweep this into TC? I think she might get better responses in there.

Brooke, I have no idea, I'm not in your area.

I would search for someone who uses the Love and Logic system, http://www.loveandlogic.com/

Our toddler group had a speaker this year and read the Love and Logic in Early Childhood, and I found it very helpful

this is a seminar that I am going to in a few weeks. a woman in our twins' group recommended her method, and I am reading one of her books before the seminar so that I can get as much out of the seminar when its here.

good luck finding something to fill the slot - sounds like a great twins group you belong to! and I'm sure the moms appreciate your efforts.

I know I'd love to hear something on that topic at ours - I might have to suggest it to ours too!
