For those of you with twins under two....what are you doing with the crib situations with the new baby on the way? I have twins that I don't feel are ready to be out of their cribs yet. My ds has cp and can't walk that well yet so I don't think he's ready at all. Do you think I should just buy a third crib for the new baby? What are all of your plans? I think I'm gonna keep my twins together in their bedroom and put a crib in the spare bedroom (that we are currently using as an office). I then will put my new baby and my ds in a room together at about age one and Lily will get her own room since she's the only girl.

I would get one of the cheaper cribs like the Jenny Lind one at TRU/BRU for like $99.99 (at least it was a few years ago) and get that for the baby. Then, once the twins move out of cribs, move the baby into one of the twin cribs (especially if it's a convertible that the baby can use later on.

Too bad you don't live in OH b/c I have a crib for sale!

Similar situation here. My Nefeli has hypotonia so her motor development is behind. Both will stay in their cribs in the room they share and the new baby will have a new crib. We're also turning the room that was dh's office till now into the new baby's bedroom. I'm expecting a boy so he'll stay in that room even as he gets older. I'm wondering if the girls will want to each have their own room later on...

My guys are 2 and 2 months and I have no plans of moving them out of their cribs any time soon yet, and they are not begging to get out either. For now, the baby will be in a play-n-pack in our room until we ultimately decide what we are going to do with the new baby.

The cribe we useed for Irelynd and Shae got so tore up from all the moving we did that when they moved into toddler beds we junked them. So we are hoping to get one from my sister. If not until we do get one the baby will be in a pack n play in our room.

Using a pack in play until we move the girls out of their cribs. My mom is trying to pressure me into doing it after their 2nd birthday and before the baby comes. No way! I feel safer with them in the crib. Unless some one gives us one to use, then its the pack n play.

I would just use a pnp. I don't think it's worth it to buy another crib.

My friend gave me her old crib...I just need a box spring and mattress for it. I suggest buying one used on craigslist...I think you should be able to get one for pretty cheap.

My plan is to keep my twins in their cribs until this baby is about 5 months old. Until then, it will sleep with us in a pack n play. By then, my girls will be 26 months, and I think/hope, they will be ready for big girl beds.
