So the doctor called me on Thursday and told me to immediately start bedrest!! This totally stinks. I have be diagnosed with proteinuria. I am now doing stress tests twice a week at the hospital and week labs that include blood work and 24hr urine specimens. I have an appointment with the doctor on Monday so hopefully he'll explain more. It just totally stinks to be doing this again five years later...you know?! I wish I had a laptop so I could actually occupy my time with something other than tv, reading, and staring out the window :(

[SIZE=12pt]Oh no! I'm so sorry you have bedrest again! :hug99: I've been there and done that (4 months of strict bedrest myself). I'm hoping I won't have to do it with this one. Get some sudoku books and crosswords! That helped me.

Bummer! I feel your pain, I was a 3 time Bedrester, each of my pregnancies came to a screeching hault with it! The twin pregnancy I spent 28 weeks in bed! started at 5 weeks and stayed there until 33 weeks and 1 day when I delivered.

Check around and see if anyone has a laptop that you could borrow temporarily. We have some places around here that do that.

Good luck to you and may the next 9 or so weeks just zoom by for you.

I've found that the hardest thing this time around is that I have to depend on others to care for my boys. It wasn't so bad when I didn't already have kids and I was on bedrest. Now I have to rowdy boys and we are waiting to close on our house so we are staying with my parents. Thankfully my mom is a teacher and has summers off but it's hard feeling like I'm not doing what I'm supposed to as a mommy.

You poor thing! I'm so sorry about the bedrest and what you're feeling is exactly what I'm worried about...bedrest without kids is one thing but with kids...urgh!

I'm glad that your mother is able to help though.

I learned to crochet when I was on bedrest!

Here's to hoping that you're next several weeks goes by quickly!
