    Hello there,

My name is Nicolina I'm 26 years old pregy at 30 weeks and 4 days and it's been more than 4 weeks that I have been in bed rest. This period seems to be endless but I hope that after 32 weeks the doc will allow me to start moving in the house at least :clapping: .
Is anybody else in the same condition as I am ??

    Take care

    Hi Nicolina,

I am 33 weeks and 4 days today. I have only been on bedrest the last week so I can't imagine how bored you are! It's great that you are doing well on the bedrest and able to grow your babies weeks longer! Good luck.

I have only been on bedrest for a couple of weeks, but yes I am bored too. There is only so much internet surfing/tv watching you can do, you know?

I'm going on 5 weeks of bed rest and there are days when I am bored out of my mind. My sister brings me gossip magazines and my sister-in-law sent me a ton of baby books to read. And of course there is the tv, internet and movies. Lately I have just been exhausted so I've been sleeping my days away, which always helps! Hang in there :hug99:

I always tell my DH that the 'Survivor' contestants have no game compared to the mindgames that bedrest mommies must play with themselves to get through bedrest!

I've been on bedrest 3 weeks now, and I hope to be on it at least 10 more!!! I'm up for the challenge to keep my babies baking as long as I possibly can. Just keep telling yourself that it's all temporary!

Hey, I didn't even get my internet bedside until today. Talk about boredom. . . TV, magazines, books, and staring out the window. I am not interested in Sudoku, and I've done a bazillion word searches!

oh boy talk about mind games! Been on bed rest for 7 weeks and I tell myself i'm not bored because if i admit i am, it will make the next 8 weeks very difficult to endure indeed. so instead, i tell myself that i'm challenged with finding creative things to do from my prone position. mine is worse because i have to be in the trendelenburg position (head down and hips up) to keep the weight of my uterus away from my cervix.

i watch movies all day on my laptop (no tv in our bedroom and DH finally went to his twin brother's house today to get me one) and read all day. surf the net but that does get old quickly. i do a few hours of work from home and I look forward to mealtimes and try to draw it out as much as possible. there's only so much one can do. but what really helps keep me going is the thought that every day my babies spen in my womb, that's one day less in the NICU. hang in there!

I was on home bedrest from Week 20 to Week 33. I thought I'd be runnin all over the place once off, but I have such terrible back pain & am so exhausted, I still find myself in this damn chair for the majority of the day/night!! I'm really trying to enjoy this last week & a 1/2 of quiet before the babies come, but I just wanna feel NORMAL AGAIN!!! Good luck to you all!!! Just keep reminding yourselves that this will soon all be a distant memory (And we'll be begging to lay around & do nothing again! )

I'm the same as Emily@home. I pretend I'm on Survivor and repeat "outwit, outplay, outlast" to myself when the going gets tough. Bedrest is insane, but I'd rather spend time in the hospital in place of my babies. You're doing great!! 4 weeks on bedrest is amazing!!! I'm finishing up Day 17 and ready to scream, but every day is a miracle! Good luck!

I'm 33 weeks and have been on bedrest for almost 4 full weeks now. I have at least 3 more to go, I hope. I'm going crazy too. Most days I can entertain myself well enough but there are definitely some days that I just cry because I'm so frustrated and have NOTHING to do. I am definitely not one to sit still so this has been a huge challenge. When I do get out of bed though, I am exhausted just walking downstairs so I think this is probably best.

I want this to be over so bad so that I can get out of bed and be normal again but at the same time I'm so scared too of what is to come!
