Bed Rest already

Today i went to my ob after my doctor said my bp was high and was placed on bed rest. Im only allowed 5 minutes on me feet and so far HATE it. Im at high risk because of my last pregnancy.But my OB did tell me the babies are doing fine despite my high BP. I was saposed to go to NYC soon but i dont think i can anymore
Im also happy to say that i am getting married so ill be with the love of my life!

 

I'm sorry, it is very early, and you have a long road ahead of you, but you can do it for your babies. If you are on bedrest, you definately won't be going to NYC. Congrats on the wedding!

Sorry to hear you are on bedrest. I spent a month on modified rest it was no picnic. But after a week or two really you start to get used to it. Do you have family close by to help?

 

yes and no haha my fiancee is there 10% and stuff but it doesnt help much

Bedrest stinks. Did they put you on bp meds? You may want to check out www.preeclampsia.org There are many women on there who have had PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension). Though its rare to get pre-eclampsia so early it can and does happen. Watch for severe swelling, rapid wieght gain, headache, blurred vision, pain under the right breast or even if you are just feeling off. I will keep you all in prayer
