Bean bag chairs

    First of all, when did these things get soooo expensive? :eek:

    Shipping alone will break the bank. So, after an exhaustive search online and calling several stores, I was wondering if any of you knew where I could pick up a couple of bean bag chairs for the boys. I'd really like the mushy kind not the hard-as-a-rock sit on top type.

    I could not believe the prices of these things either when I started looking!! I ended up getting bean bags at Target on sale for around $15.

    Ours came from lillianvernon as well and they were Christmas gifts!

    We actually found ours at SuperWalmart...and for about a week it was kind of hard...but they jumped on it and smushed it right in- in no time! THey loved it, until we bought the PBK oversized anywhere chairs, now they don't even touch that thing! LOL...might be worth a try for $16 at a local store. It broke in quickly...just a suggestion. HTH

    Do you have a BigLots near you? My mom got two of them there. Of course, you can check out craigslist or yardsales. I found one of mine at a yardsale for $5. It's in perfect condition and has the interior bag that holds all the little pellets separate from the cover. Another tip...go for the vinyl (aka easy to wipe down) ones. They had furry ones at Target, and all I could think of was the drool factor or any accidents or spills. Ewwww!

    Not sure if you have Aldi's near you...but I see they have bean bags on sale this week for $15. Just thought I'd throw that out there :)
