Beach Towel and/or Terry Cloth Coverup

We are going on vacation this fall and the hotel we are staying at (at Disney) doesn't provide beach towels at the pool. We don't really want to take them from our room since we have 5 of us there already, there won't be a ton to spare.

The twins have really cute hooded terry cloth cover-ups that we are bringing with us. They are literally just like a towel. Do you think I still need to bring their beach towels? Just trying to cut down on a packing list if possible. The only reason I could see to really bring it would be if they want to just "lay out" on a beach chair, but lets face it, kids that age don't want to sit still, especially not when there's a pool involved.

What do you think?

 

I'd just take the cover ups. They're probably going to run around enough after getting out of the pool to be mostly dry before you get back to the room.

ETA: You could buy Disney towels once you're there and count them as souvenirs.

 

Are you sure they don't have towels at the pool? I know that when we stayed at Saratgo there was towels at the pool.
I'm pretty sure we had towels at the poll at ASMu.

 

Every Disney resort we stayed at had towels at the pool as well. If not, I would just bring the cover ups and use the towels from the room and then ask for more. I would not bother packing towels, you are going to come home with a ton more than you got there with anyway!

 

I'll check again on the towels. I had in my mind that the value resorts didn't have towels at the pool. I could be wrong though. Will check on that.
