So, I was looking at some stuff that I thought we would need for our beach trip this summer and I came across these socks. Are they worth the 10 bucks? It seems like a good idea, I hadn't even thought about it. We have some sandles made out of sort of foam material they can wear but I thought these might be better? Thanks for any insight!

I ordered these for Max & Lily about 3 weeks ago. Haven't used them yet because it is still 65 degrees here in Michigan, but I thought they would be great for this squirt park near our house and I don't have to worry about their feet and the heat or germs.

They look like they would keep their feet from getting sunburn and scraped up. They will also stay put when they run around. I think they are definitely worth a shot.

Those look really cute! My DH just got something similar for the girls from Sports Authority for $6.

I used to get burned on my feet from walking in hot sand on the beach. Blisters and all. And it's sad that I remember the pain and blisters from when I was 4, so I'm 100% behind sandsocks.

I was torn between those and the actual shoes, but I went with the shoes. The reviews said they held up better (the socks snag) & I wanted more 'padding' on their feet for when they went running off on uneven surfaces (ie our rock bed). I got ours primarily for our pool & deck, since they're both slippery when wet, and to protect their feet for when they get out of the pool & roam the yard (as if I could JUST keep them in the pool, right?). We haven't had to use ours yet, either, but the boys LOVE wearing them around the house! Let me know how the socks go...I was REALLY torn between the two!

They sure look cute and great for their intended purpose. Let us know how they are if you decide to get them!

thanks for all the replies! I haven't ordered any yet, but now I'm torn between the shoes and socks! They're both so cute, and I'm sure would be worth the money. Maybe I'll get both, lol. The shoes would help from rocks, etc... But I just looked again and don't think they come in the size I need... (3 or 4) Oh well.
