Just curious...with a toddler at home, I'm having a hard time giving baths. I'm lucky if I do it once a week. I will wash their hands, face, neck and bottoms everyday before PJ's...but I do miss giving nightly baths like I did with my first.

At that age, I was doing it every night. It was part of our bedtime routine.

Ditto - like you they get a full bath 1x week and then everyday they get their important bits washed with a washcloth.

My house is a circus in the evening between the twins and my two pre-schoolers. It's amazing anyone gets clean. The babies are dunked once a week, otherwise they get wiped down with whatever kitchen towel is handy.

The boys probably get a bath once a week and they get tossed into the shower with one of us 1-2 times. I have two older kids and my husband works a lot of nights so nights are rough here. In the summer, they will most likely get a lot more because we have a pool so I'll need to atleast rinse off the chlorine.

Every night before bed. It's our bedtime routine, and they know if they miss it...lol.

Oh, wow... I remember when the boys were hardly getting a bath a week. I felt so guilty ... they were so dirty. It was hard to do, but we finally got it into their bedtime routine. The only time they don't get a bath is when they take a late nap and basically sleep into bedtime.

I'm an every nighter too. Both boys calm down immediately when they get in the tub, so it's our wind down routine before bed. We even moved dd's bedtime up a half hour to accommodate the craziness in the evenings and it seems to work out.

They get wiped down with wipes every morning and a tub bath with mommy only as needed. They only had one bath each in the NICU, so I have kind of figured it wasn't a big deal. Once they start crawling that will have to change.

I will definitely have to figure out a good routine for us, since I have never given them a bath without DH's help and he gets home quite late--just in time to give them a bottle and put them into their sleepsacks.

Our boys still only get a bath 1-2 times a week (usually only once a week!). It's just hard to find time to work it in, and it is not part of their nightly routine because baths do NOT calm our boys down at all. Instead they get worked up and often times cry still. I was just telling a new twin mom last night that Mustela Physiobebe rinseless cleanser is a godsend!!! We use it a couple of times a day to wash their diaper area and their face (just a few squirts onto a wipe). It smells sooooo good and really cleans great! A regular wipe on dried-on cereal doesn't do much, but this wipes it off no problem, and then I love the mild smell of our boys afterwards.

I give baths every night as part of their bedtime routine. I don't know if I would be able to if I had a toddler as well. I have skipped it a few times since they were 4 months old (I can count the times on one hand) and it wasn't terrible and they sure weren't stinky. It's just something we do.

All three girls usually get baths every 2-3 days. We do wipe downs in between, but I think it dries them out if they get bathed too often plus, it's just one more thing in an already busy day.

My guys have sensitive skin (as does their father) so we do every other night right now. I think if they get extra dirty (probably starting next summer) we will do every day, though. It really helps that DH & split the work- he bathes, I do Qtips, oil, powder, snorking of snot, dressing, diapering, repeat. We have it down to about 30 minutes start to finish.

1-2 times a week unless we've been outside playing, or they've had spaghetti for supper!

With 2 older kids it's hard to fit it in unless I bath them with their older sister. And baths don't calm any of my kids down, they are wild and splash water everywhere, not to mention the "standing up" battle has begun lately!

We've been every other night for as long as I can remember. There are obviously times that we will miss two nights in a row, or sometimes they have to have one every night if we've been outside or gotten really dirty somehow. I do not have other children though, completely understand how that would make things more difficult!

Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't have time to do baths every night lol. With a 2 year old & 4 month twins I'm lucky if the twins get a bath once a week. Though I do wipe them down everyday. My 2 year old does get on every other day though.

Every other night, although lately I did it a few days in a row because of diaper rash. I do not have other children at home and I'm sure if I did I wouldn't be doing them even every other day!

This is what I do. I bath Donevan every other night, and the twins on the nights I dont bath Donevan. I am doing baths every night, but not all three of them.

Every night since day 1, part of the nighttime routine and as a PP said, they know when they miss it. Mine will cry to be put in tub and then instantly stop, they know bed is coming right after.

I bathe my girls every other day, sometimes waiting until the 3rd day. I do the wipe-down with wipes every day though. :)

every other night, with a good wipe-down on the in-between days. i don't wash their hair at every bath, though, because that's not necessary and just encourages the production of more scalp oils. so they get a full soapy hair wash about 2x per week.

We have two big Bath nights a week in our house. DH gets in the bath and then receives each twin to wash while I strip, dry, and dress them. Then the 20 month old goes in. Then DH gets out and the two big kids take turns. (They are old enough to clean themselves!) It feels like an endless procession of kids and takes a good hour but it's lovely to settle down after with a nice clean family. The big kids and DH have other random showers during the week. I have to say though that it seems to be the walls and floor that get the most water!!!

My boys are 30 months old and we've missed 3 bath nites. Missing those nites caused me some stress, too, I'm not going to lie. I did fill up a bucket/thingy with hot water and suds and sponge bath them tho. I hate missing baths. I've never not taken a shower myself, either. It's one of my hang ups. LOL.

They just don't get that messy, so it's 2-3 times a week.

we started around 6 months to do it nightly for the bedtime routine. we do the baths in the big tub with just a bath mat on the tub, nothing special. they usually just laid there for bathtime at that age, then just sat later on etc. now its crazy! but they love it!

When my twins were babies they got an actual bath 1-2 X a week and the important parts wiped down daily, especially the folds under their necks. With my newest little guy every night as part of his bedtime routine.
