Bathrobes

We try to keep our heat on the lower end to save $$. The kids wake up and sometimes complain it's too cold. I mentioned that maybe they could get a bathrobe, to which I then explained what they were, showed them mine, etc etc.

Does anyone's kids have one? Or is that just plain silly???

 

I got mine a pj set with robes las year and they rarely wear them, Jack occasionally after a shower or in the am will, otherwise they have all always been hot boxes like me. But no not a silly idea at all, and they are super cute when they *do* wear them

 

The girls have had one for a couple of years. They always get cold at breakfast and dinner and want blankets. Of course, there is a no blanket rule at the table, so they'll put on their house coats. They love them!

 

My kids all have them. Meghan will put hers on often at dinner time or in the AM whe she is chilly. The boys wear theirs sometimes, but they tend to run a little hot (Nolan wears short sleeves all winter) so I imagine that's why they don't wear them as often.

 

All 3 of my boys have them and love them!

 

Ok so next question-where did you get them??

 

Both my older kids have them, like others said when they are chilly in the morning or after their shower at night they wear them.

I found theirs at target a couple years ago, so soft and fuzzy, made me want to get one for me too! :lol:

 

Both of mine are getting them for Christmas. They really love the footie pajamas, but I only really like the Carter brand, which only goes up to 5T (or at least that is the highest size our Costco has). So I got them 2 piece pajamas in size 6, and I figured they could wear their robe and slippers to warm up.

I got them a week or two back when they were on sale for $10 at Target.

 

Target had big fuzzy ones last year.

A&R don't wear them often, but they do wear them when they are cold after a bath before bed.

 

Kohls always has a ton, and this is wear we have gotten the girls.

 

My kids always want blankets at breakfast in the morning. I like the robe idea instead of arguing with them about blankets at the table. One more thing to add to their Christmas lists!
