We're going to the beach in a week and I need a suit. Is there any particular place I should look? I need a tummy flattering suit to hide the extra tummy skin. Thanks!

Lands End catalog or online.....they have nice flattering suits for hiding the flaws on our bodies. [IMG]

I have seen a few people post about some suits in Newport News Catalog. I got a catalog and am thinking about this one.

I've seen a lot of cute ones. It's hard to pick when you haven't tried it on though, kwim? The tankini is cute. I am sticking to one pieces because I worried the top might ride up in the pool. I don't want to scare anyone. [IMG]

I've been looking at the ones that are wrap style, with the front that looks like it wraps across your front. Would that be better than a smooth front?

I KWYM about not wanting to buy one without trying it on, I'm hesitant about that too, but I like the power mesh for the tummy control. I know nothing about one pieces, smooth vs. wraps, but wanted to say that I've had several tankini's and they are tight aroud the bottom, I've never had one ride up in the pool, so I don't think you have to worry about that. I like them because they are easier when you have to use the restroom. Good luck finding something, I think a lot of us will be looking for that tummy control suit, sigh, the joys of twins. I actually have a few bathing suits from Newport News and they fit great and work like they say. So I think they are safe to buy without trying them on. [IMG]

Thanks for saying this Sarah. I am really thinking of ordering one from there and was a bit hesitant. I'm glad you've had good luck. I'm hoping the power mesh for the tummy really works.

I just ordered one from Lands End's overstocks. They have a lot out there and you can get them for about 1/2 the price (I got a swim mini and flowered top).

I have a tankini from Newport News and it fits AWESOME. I brought it prior to twins but it hides the twin skin now and even lifts my rear nicely.. according to dh anyway lol

Ok, now I'm convinced, I am getting that suit from Newport News. Now I just have to figure out what size to get. [IMG]
