    Hi there!

I have a little bit of a dillema. My twins have way outgrown their baby bath tubs. Unfortunately though our only bath is far too low on the ground. Not just that but the bathroom where it's at is too small! And for someone with lower back problems (not to mention shoulder pains) it's a living nightmare to bath them there. Our bedroom has a jacuzzi but that again is too deep. So you see my dillema...

If any of you have similar problems, what do you use to bath your twins in?

Our kitchen sink is too small...

Just so you know I did not help buy this house... ;)

    Thanks!

No advice, just hugs. . .we are starting to deal with the same issue, right now they still fit in the tub, but splash all over the place so I am going to have to move it upstairs. If they will fit in the kitchen sink, I would just do it there if I were you!

    :wavey: Denise!

We have a jacuzzi too that is deep. I bathed them in the baby tub until they were one years old, and then I only stopped because we went on vacation. Is there a reason you can't keep using it? We didn't lay them down in it, but just sat them in it and did our thing. It was easier on my back. Once we moved in the tub, we just let them stand in there with those non slip pads on the floor. :pardon: I wish I had some other suggestions. Sorry!!

Have you looked at the Primo Euro Bath?? I haven't actually seen one ;) but I've hear lots of good things about it -- and its supose to be huge. I don't know how big your kiddos are, but it might work -- they claim you can used it up to 24 months. We're getting close to growing out of our baby tub -- and I was thinking about getting on for my boys.

ETA: Here's the description from Amazon:

    Editorial Review
Although full-size bathtubs may be just the right size for Mom and Dad, your baby will need a smaller tub to bathe in during the first few months of life. This sturdy EuroBath fits the bill quite nicely, and can be used for babies and young children ranging from a few weeks to up to 2 years of age, depending on your child's size. The EuroBath is large for a baby bath, measuring approximately 9 inches deep in the middle, just under 3 feet from end to end, and approximately 21 inches wide. A raised section in the middle is designed to cradle infants and smaller babies comfortably, with ample space around it for splashing water on baby as you bathe them. The EuroBath is surprisingly sturdy, while also being lightweight and very easy to clean. --Chris Burns

    Product Description
It?s the first "smart" bath because its unique anatomical shape keeps baby in the ideal bathing position and prevents baby from slipping under the water. The extra large 38 quart capacity and double position make EuroBath perfect from the very first day up to baby?s second birthday. The newborn to six months old infant is safely cuddled under baby?s arms and between the legs to help prevent the baby from slipping under the water. As the baby becomes a toddler, the baby can change positions. The toddler can sit in the bath with a safety post between baby?s legs to hold on to for fun and security. Adult Supervision required. Do not leave your child unattended. 36"H x 21"W x 10"D. Ages birth and up. White or Blue.

Do you do bath time by yourself or do you have help? If you DH is around you could get in the bath with one and then have him take that one when done and give you the other.

I do baths by myself since DH works late... the girls are STILL in the baby bath tub, but are quickly outgrowing it and I don't know what I'll do now. I think its probably time to retire the infant bathtub when the 'infant' is trying to stand up to get out of it ;) Thats where I'm at now. GL and I hope you find a solution... just know that you aren't the only one! (And I didn't help buy this house either!)

You can buy bath seats that will elevate them some. I saw some a Babies R Us in the $25-35 range. My peanuts are still in the infant tub.

I guess I'm the odd one out. I've never used a baby bath. we bathed them in the kitchen sink until they were too big. By that point they could sit up and crawl and just play in the regular tub without me worrying. That's half the fun of baths for them. I just fill the water so it covers their legs, put em in, and watch them have fun with bath toys. I have a little stool that I sit on next to the tub that allows me to get them out without bending over (I have back issues too). I take one out, get them ready--then do the other. I would think baby baths would be much harder.
