Bathing in the sink

I've started bathing the girls in the kitchen sink (sometimes still in the big tub but I hate having to bend over for so long). My question is how do you guys go about rinsing their hair? I can't seem to get them to lean back just a little without wanting to lay completely down and we usually end up with water all in the face, which they hate of course. I don't want them to start dreading baths because they know it will result with a face full of water. I tried the sprayer in the sink (turned on very low) and it got all in their face too.

I don't have any input but I am wondering the same thing!

I try to tell my twins to tilt their heads back, but since they can't understand what I'm saying...they don't. I've tried holding a thick towel up to their foreheads so it absorbs some of the extra water and it doesn't all run in their faces. I also try to bring their hair as far back as possible so that I'm mostly rinsing the back of their heads. I also use very little water...I just take a wet washcloth and squeeze it out over their heads.

We used the sprayer but I tipped their heads back and put my hand over their forehead. I also have one of those buckets with the soft front made just for rinsing. I got it at BRU for about $10 I think.

Tell them to look at the ceiling (some people actually put a picture of a favorite character on the ceiling) and tell them to look at it. I tell mine NOSE up or Head Up/EYES closed! Then I help them get their noses up!

    Hang in there

I remember when I was little my Mom stuck a sticker on the ceiling and told us to look at the sticker. Is that an option?

I used the veggie sprayer on the hair...lol! They weren't huge fans, but it did the job! I only bathed the twins in the sink until they were about 10-11 months old. Olivia outgrew the sink at about 5 months...lol...she's a chunker. Her 1 yr appt is next Monday and she should be upwards of 28-30 lbs!
