    Hi All,

When did you start? My girls are 1.5 years and I still wash them separately. It would be great to wash them together. But the one time I did a few months ago, one of my girls kept falling and got so upset. I also have glass doors, which makes things a little difficult. But, any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I started bathing them together I think around 10 months. They have these foam teddy bears that you lay in the bottom of a baby tub to use when babies are newborns/infants. I used two of those to sit them on during bath time for cushion and stability. It worked like a charm!! When they got more steady, I took the bears away and they have been fine since.

I just started bathing them together in the last 2 weeks. It may be a bit more challenging getting them in and out, but its such a time saver and the girls like taking baths together. I also had glass doors on our tub, but I took them off and got a shower curtain.

I put down a mat so they don't slip and have been bathing them together since they were about 9 months old. It is so much faster. If I am by myself, I let the water out and grab one to change while I am right beside the tub and then grab the other one and change him. Our bathroom and bedroom are together and it is gated so they can't go any further than that which is also a big help. They love playing together in the tub also!

As soon as they sat solo in the tub (without their bath seat), I think that was around 10-11 months. They love bathtime, although lately Lily wants to swim around the tub so she'd love if she got to take her own solo bath. I told DH to start giving them baths in our whirlpool tub so they have more room, so we'll see if he does that tonight (DH is the bath guy at our house).

They have a non-slip mat in the tub, and they get 3 "standing up" warnings, the third time they stand they are out of the tub. Since they love their bath so much this works.

I started about a month ago. Luckily, my tub is fiberglass wich makes me feel alot better. I went out and bought a no slip mat and shower caddy so I could put all of my shampoo etc. "up" so I wouldn't have to move everything every time I bathed them. So far they've been great. They love bathing together and it's alot easier on me too. (maybe except for my back! ) I just bring everything into the bathroom and close the door - for warmth and confinement. Bought some fun bath toys for them, and they have a blast. Carley cries when I get her out. I love it as it takes half the time and energy now. Good luck!!

We started around 10m too. We've had phases of it being logistically challenging; but I'd rather have that version of challenging than the one where I have to tolerate one baby constantly whining/crying because they aren't the one in the tub.

Mine too have been bathing together since they were about 9 or 10 months..... We have no slip mats and keep the shampoo up high... the only problem we have is one of my girls likes to poo in the tub, not long after she gets in and I have to take them both out and rerun some water... I've tried waiting until she has already gone, but it still does no good.... lol

My boys are a couple of little worms and I would never even try to bath them both at the same time. I can hardly manage one! They just hate sitting still.

LOL we do this too. they think it's a great game until I reach for the towel; that sits them down real fast as they love bathtime.

I think it's so much easier to do them both at once and they love to play together in the bathtub. We started at 9 or 10 months. I still sit right next to them the whole time and if someone gets over zealous and starts to go down, I'm right there.

We removed the glass doors and the upper and lower tracks in our old house and put in a shower curtain. We didn't put them all into the same tub until they were all able to confidently sit upright.

Mine have been together (the 3 of them) since 9-10 months. Saves so much time. As soon as one is dressed, I put him/her in her room behind the gate with a cup of milk and then do number 2. Same. Then I help my oldest if necessary. They like it together.

I started with them together around 7 -8 mos. when they could sit in their bath seats. I can't imagine doing them separately!!

Mine have always bathed together, and they love it. They have lots of bath toys, bath crayons, etc. to play with. Lately they have been occasionally taking a shower with daddy, and they love that too. We have a removable shower head that works really great so the water doesn't spray down on their heads.

This was what I was going to suggest. I think it would be almost impossible to really take care of them together with glass doors. If you can take them off and get a shower curtain I would highly recommend it. We started bathing our girls in the bath together around 10 months or so. It is so much fun to have them together but I can't imagine doing it with a door in the way  That would be too hard for me.

We have always bathes ours together, since they were out of the infant tub that is. They have always loved playing together since they have been able to sit up.

We just started doing them or should I say I just started b/c DH is not home until later in the evening from work, lucky him right? It is much easier I would probably take off the doors if I were you...

We have a curtain and lots of towels on the floor it is such a mess but a fun one for sure!

We actually put 2 regular laundry baskets in the tub and give them a bath together. They don't slip around and they can have something to hold on to.
    Good luck!

We use bath seats too! The pic is my avatar. It is so quick and easy plus they love playing together.
