Did anyone involve their kids or younger siblings when installing the hoop? I’m thinking about making it a little project we do together, but I’m not sure if it’ll be too much or just slow things down. Would love to hear if it made the experience better—or more stressful!

I actually involved my niece and nephew when we installed our hoop, and while it did take a bit longer, it was totally worth it. They loved being part of the process—holding tools, helping with bolts, and just being there made it feel more like a family moment than a task. That said, some parts did require focus and strength, so I had to step in more during the final steps. If you’re unsure, you could always start together and then finish up yourself if it gets too tricky. We also checked out https://www.basketballsinstallers.com/ for tips and eventually had them do a second hoop professionally—super reliable and fast. Their team knows how to handle everything, which can really help if you want less stress and more peace of mind. Definitely an option worth considering.
