Banana, strawberry, apple baby food. Can they have it?

I seem to remember strawberries is one of the foods that you need to wait on to give kids. When can they have them, is it one year? DH bought some of the banana, strawberry, apple baby food by mistake. I still mix it in with their oatmeal in the morning. Can I use this? Thanks.

I gave it to my kids before a year. If you give it, just be sure to watch for any reaction.

 

I think the baby food is okay- it is the real strawberry that you have to watch. There was a post on this a long time ago and I think that was the concensus.

 

I gave it to them well before they were 1. As with any new food you want to watch for any kind of allergic reaction.

 

I gave it to them as well. I just stayed away from real strawberries until after they turned 1.

If you don't want to feed it to them yet, you can eat it, it's good. Did I just admit that?

Now we know who eats the baby food in your house. I will say the fruits are not bad, I've never tasted the veggies though.

 

Hmm... I gave it to mine at like 8 months. It was the Strawberries and Bananas flavor, they LOVED it.

Another fave was Apples and Cinnamon.

I think it's fine to give it to them I gave mine strawberries before a year in baby food.
