My girls have been fighting over 2 balls. One is the top of their stackable cups and the other is from their aqua playmat, its blown up.

Whats good for balls/toys for 9mo olds?

I think my dd liked large rings, and those boxes that you fit the blocks in (different shapes and such)...so hard to remember! I am sure I will have to dig them out eventually for the babies.

my girls fight over the inflated ball from the aqua mat, too! they like to chew on the velcro thing - gross

we have this HUGE touch and feel book that they love. they actually like to feel all the different stuff! we have a smaller one, but that one doesn't seem to be as interesting

A few weeks ago we went to a b-day party, and the birthday girl had a ball pit. My boys loved sitting in the ball pit forever! All it is essentially is an inflatable pool with a bunch of balls in it. They might really like that!

Mine LOVE this thing, too! And they like to chew on the Velcro......
My DH is constantly ordering them toys from Amazon. We just got the LeapFrog musical/learning table -- not sure what's is called exactly, but I now call it the crack table! They spend forever kneeling at it or pulling up on it and playing with all the buttons, levers, lights, etc. DD especially loves the "book" in the middle that she can turn the page back and forth on........

Ok this may sound crazy but my girls loved to play with a ball and the large plastic easter eggs. They would break they egg in half and put the ball in it. They would do this for hours. My girls love anything with balls. I am thinking of getting them just a huge bag of balls and putting them in their swimming pool. Like a ball pit.

Playskool busy ball popper, it comes with 5 or 6 balls and it's a very fun toy.

Thats what Maia does she puts the ball in the stacking cup and moves it, I think she likes the sound.

Oh yeah my girls have this and they love it. You do have to watch about them putting different size balls in it though.

My girls have been loving these magnetic bugs - I think they are Lamaze brand. They like to stick them together and pull them apart. The other main thing they fight over is a pink shoe box.

ETA: Love the title of this post BTW :D

That is so true! Despite DH's baby toy buying obsession, empty water bottles and tupperware containers are a big hit around here!

At 9 months my girls like that classic fisher prices stacking rings toy (they STILL love it!), they also liked these Playskool balls that make different sounds and have different textures. We also had a bunch of beach balls that were a big hit. And as someone else said, household items too- it was around 8-9 months old that my girls developed their deep love for tupperware!

We have a bunch of the Fisher Price Roll Around balls. They love them. EI liked that we had them as well as they are great for language development as they get older.

    We LOVE THEM!
