Ballet Shoes

I've enrolled the kids in a ballet/tap/tumble class and I need to find ballet shoes for boys. So far everything I have found has a bow or a flower on it. Did anyone else enroll their boy in dance class and if so where did you get your shoes?

 

Trish, I just spoke to my SIL, my nephew takes dance (he is 10), and she said she found white ballet shoes for him at a dance store. She said they should have them, or be able to order them for you, but to make sure you take them with you since sizing is really weird.

 

Thanks for the tip Sharon! I found a local Capezio store that has some in black. I'll probably venture out there this week!

 

Payless also has dance shoes and I am pretty sure that they have black. That being said, they are not much cheaper than a Capezio.

 

capezio will last longer - but black is the preferred color for boys...i own a dance studio
