Can I tell you how excited I am to find this forum!!?? I was on the TS expecting board with my twins in '05 and I am so glad this subforum has been started up! You girls are just what I've been looking for!!

I'm expecting #5 and yes, would love to have multiples because this will most likely be our last pregnancy. Waaaaaay back when we were first married we discussed how many children we'd like to have. I said 6 and DH said 3. He said we could compromise at 4 pregnancies and I told him that would be spectacular and I could make 6 babies out of 4 pregnancies. This was before we had any kids at all!! We laughed....and now, after 3 pregnancies we have 4 kids. It took a lot of effort to get DH to agree to one more try and I'm praying and praying for twins to get my 6 babies!

IF we have twins, DH will pass out. I would be soooooo excited. Of course I'm happy to get any babies at all! Realistically, I am confident it's only one. My pregnancy is very mellow compared to the twins...so far!

I'm due March 28 and go for my first appt next Friday right at 8 weeks. I'm not sure why, but the Dr (who never sees anyone before 10 weeks) wanted to see me asap when I told him I'd previously had multiples and this would be the 5th baby. Whatever! I'll take that early ultrasound!

Really, I'm stoked to find you all! I'm anxious to start chatting it up!

    Congratulations!!!

You know, if you have had multiples previously, and have had a few pregnancy's your changes for more multiples is good! That is probably why your DR wants to see you ASAP.

Keep us updated!! I am adding your due date to our roll call!!

I'm in a very similar situation to you! With this latest addition, we will have 3 girls and 1 boy... My dh has always been the one to say we will have either 3 or 5..don't know why he would say that..but he always has... I've felt more like, "one at a time, please.." but then God had a good laugh at me and gave me twins! I really thought we would have another boy this time around..and I think that if we had I'd probably be more inclined to be "done"... just the mathematical side of me that would have been happy to have a symmetrical family...hee hee... Now I feel like I'm more open to having another one. I know I can't really be going for a boy next time either..but I still feel open to having a 4th pg... I think part of me would be thrilled to get twin boys out of the next pg...then I'd still get my symmetrical family! LOL!!! (are you secretly hoping for a boy??... I'm thrilled with another girl, but I do feel badly for my poor ds... but then I do have days where I'm not sure I could handle another boy anyway! LOL!)

    Congrats...enjoy your pg!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Susanna: OF COURSE I'm hoping for another boy!! Poor ds, he plays dress up and tea party all day long with all the sisters in this house. He needs a buddy to throw the ball around with!

I'm so with you!! My poor ds... my dd is constantly telling him "you can't do that...you are a boy!" Lately, she's been telling him he can't play with the girl's toys..and he cries to me, "mommy I wanna play with the girls' toys." So I have to remind Emma that she plays with his trucks and trains too. Of course, he plays with barbies completely differently than my girls do...he usually makes them fight. The only dh has firmly put his foot down about is dressing up in the girl's outfits...he allowed me to allocate some money last year to pick up a firefighter outfit and a cowboy outfit for my ds. LOL! he couldn't handle Judah wanting to try on Emma's pink ballerina dress!! the poor kid really needs a brother...
