I'm tired....I'm so,so tired and worn out. I need a break but I feel like I will never get one, I feel like I will never get a good night's sleep again.
This week really is hard, one of the hardest for me I think. DH has been traveling all week and will not be home until basically Sunday morning. I had to stop swaddling Ryan this week as he kept kicking out of the swaddle and waking up in the middle of the night crying. So since Tues he's been in the sleep sack. Well, that really stinks because every night he's been up at 1am. And then wakes for good at 6am. For some reason Jack has been waking up too(he's still being swaddled) so last night I went to bed at 11pm and Ryan woke up at 1am and then Jack at 3am and then both at 6am. I'm SOOOO tired. It wouldn't be that bad maybe if DH was here to help but I'm doing everything all by myself. My dad and step mom have been nice enough to come over every evening around 5pm to make dinner and try to help out but it's just not the same. They are more focused on getting dinner ready and what's going on with American Idol then really helping. Plus this week both babies have decided they don't want to be held by anyone except mommy! And I can't do both at the same time!! But then when I try to feed them they either won't take their bottle or they are SO combative! Jack has also been really spitting up at each feeding and I've had to do loads of laundry. They are just SOOOOO fussy this week....UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me things will get better.....
Anyway, I'm sure things aren't that bad but I'm just tired and need to vent! Thanks for listening(reading).

:hug99: When you Dh comes home on Sunday, can you leave for a couple of hours and just be by yourself? Even if its to go run errands I find that I need some alone time to recharge. GL!

We have a Baptism to go to but he said he'd take care of the babies until then so I guess I do have something to look forward to!

    Melissa,

Feel free to vent... we have all done it too! In case it helps, I remember 4 months being the hardest time for me. My babies were fussy, I was tired, everything seemed to go wrong, I wasn't having much fun, etc. Things really got better soon afterwards. I don't know what changed, but the girls stopped waking up at night as much, I got better sleep, they started doing more during the day, and things have been getting better every month since then. Hang in there...

Sadly this week has been a tuff one on me... Beau has pnemonia (sp) and Savannah is needy of momma... I was off work for two days and then they needed me to come in at night yesterday. Sadly i came in very willing... I needed to take a breath and regroup... Hang in there and know this too shall pass. ;)
