bad sore throat

Today I have come down with a bad sort throat. It just hurts on one side, but it hurts REALLY bad. I have already gargeled (sp?) with hot salty water, used some Halls, have held a hot cloth on my throat, and am now drinking hot tea. Anybody else have any pregnancy friendly suggestions? I know going to the Dr. won't do any good since they can not give me anything.

 

What about Tylenol sore throat? Hope you feel better soon, I hate sore throats.

 

I fought a sore throat for weeks!! I used Chloreseptic spray & Tylenol per Doctors okay. I also was taking Robitussin in case it were from a cold, but no other symptoms. I'm wondering if it's not hormonally related to the pregnancy because mine was just on one side as well. I've never heard tell until now. Weird huh!?!

 

I just got over something similar. I drank hot tea and after a few days it actually felt better. HUGS!

 

Just be careful and make sure you are not running a fever- one sided sore throat is a good indicator of strep!
Just keep trying to alternate hot and cold- and try some tylenol! Feel better soon!
