Sunday night before I went to bed I started having a horrible pain in my lower uterus on the right side. It was constant but I just went to sleep. Then yesterday I woke up and the apin was even worse so I called the doctors office and the nurse said just don't go to work today and drink plenty of water and try to rest and to call back if it got worse. Well yesterday I stayed home and layed around all day and drank A LOT of water. Today I'm back at work and I am in so much pain but I don't know if I need to just tough it out because its normal or if its actually something serious and I need to call my doctor back. Please help!

Sounds like it could be round ligament pain?
I would definitely call your Dr. if you are unsure or in too much pain though.
Always better to err on the side of caution! That is what your Dr. is there for.
    Feel better

This happened to me last week.. I ended un in L&D, then hospitalized for 4 days. It turned out to be round ligament pain.

Thank you for everyone's advice. I think I'm just going to go home after work and rest and then I have an apt with my MFM in the morning so I'll talk to her then.
    Thanks again!

If it's round ligament pain (which it sounds like to me too), you really really have to baby that muscle, and now that it's pulled it's going to be very easy to pull again and again. Lean over when you cough or sneeze or laugh, get up very slowly from sitting or laying, just really take it easy. It's incredibly painful but there isn't much you can do about it, and unfortunately it gets worse the bigger you get.

I pulled mine the other night, middle of the night, I ended up getting up and having to waddle my way around for about 15 mins before it eased up enough to get back into bed and go to sleep. :(

Hope you feel better and hope it's nothing serious. I've had side pains as well, off and on throughout the whole pregnancy. It's never been so bad that I had to lie down though, I did have to lie down when I was getting BH. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
