Bad Night and Past Couple of Days

Last night I woke up to severe pains in my upper belly that would come and go every 5-10 minutes or so. This lasted for about 3 hours and I was able to fall back to sleep but I would wake up every so often because of the pains. This morning I haven't really felt them but I'm not feeling like myself. For the past two days I have had a lot of pain in my rib cage and stomach area and my upper legs have been killing me. I don't know if this would have anything to do about last night.

I can't believe how much of a difference this pregnancy is with the twins and it was with my daughter. I find myself complaining about every little thing and worrying about everything. I don't want to make a lot out of a mountain hole, but does anyone have any suggestions. I don't want to call my doctor about every problem I have.

I will be 25 weeks tomorrow so I have hit my first goal and there are many more weeks that I do want to hit.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Don't ever be afraid to call your doc. Twin pregnancies are a whole different ballgame. The stress factor is off the charts. Call. :hug99:

Call your doctor. I had to call mine this morning because I was (and sometimes still am) have some pain on my right side (from my rib cage and down to about 3-5 inches). Its just stressfull not knowing what to expect and what's normal and what's not. :hug99:

I know what you are saying. This twin pregnancy is totally different. I did not have all these symptoms with either of my boys. I also would call the doctor. That is what they are there for is to help you.

you should absolutely call your doctor with every little problem. its the only way they can make sure that they are little problems and not big ones.

I call mine every week and sometimes go to Labor and Delivery to see him, I figure he must miss me : )

My best advice is to just get used to calling your doctor. I was the same way in the beginning and then I got tired of worrying myself sick over everything. It is so much easier to just pick up the phone and put your mind at ease. I can tell you that I had so much pain in my ribs and upper abdomen as everything got pushed upward. If anything is bothering you consistantly for a whole day it is probably worth talking to the doctor about. You will have all kinds of aches and pains that you probably never experienced before. :hug99:

I think that sounds potentially dangerous - I'd definitely call immediately! Though you may annoy people slightly by calling too often or whatnot no-one will thank you if you ignore a bigger issue - least of all yourself. And peace of mind is always, always worth annoying your doctor to get! Good luck to you and your little ones.
