The boys had a pretty restless night. I heard them stir a few times. Then, Trent woke me at midnight to go pee (we're teetering on night-trained  ) and they were both wide awake wanting to pee at 5 and I realized then that it was really cold in the house. Trevor's little hands and feet were so cold and I asked if they were chilly and they both said they were. :( I put them in their sleep sacks and they went back to sleep but I felt awful that I didn't notice there was something wrong before then.

Not a bad mommy. Just a sleep mommy. Good luck with night training. My son has wet the bed the last couple of nights. I am not planning to do night training for him for a while. I haven't decided about my daughter just yet.

It is that time of year where I frequently forget to turn on the heat before bed only to wake up around 3am freezing, so your not the only one!!! But I put the kids in fleece sleepers with sleep sacks, so I hope they don't notice.

I'm dreading the change to fall weather for this reason (I love all other aspects of it). My boys revolted against sleep sacks long ago, and have refused to step foot in a footed anything since last spring. They are bare-foot boys and i don't know how I'm going to keep them warm enough to stay asleep this year if they won't let me put footed sleepers, take their socks off as fast as i put them back on, and can't stay under the covers to save their life (they prefer laying on top of the blankets  ).

I've found that cold feet don't wake my two up - they are ALWAYS barefoot!

Sweetpea, we use the Halo Big Kids sacks so their feet and arms are free. T&T don't mind footed sleepers but the sacks span the seasons better since they can be worn with short or long-sleeved jammies in different weights.

Carmenandwhitsmom, I'm not night training them, they're night training me. It's going just like the rest of potty training with them charging along and me trying to keep up.

Okay, not to detract from the original topic of your horrid parenting :p , but I'm curious if you would comment on the breathability of the Halo sleep sack fabric. Poor Joe is a sweat factory, so I have to be careful to put him only in breathable fabrics (seriously, I should pimp this kid out to Nike as a tester for clothing wickability).

Also, do T&T have a blanket in bed with them as well? Joe is so attached to his snuggly that I would want him to still be able to have that with him (he is on top of it as often as he's actually under it).

The sacks are fleece with ribbed cotton around the ankles. The neck and arm holes are cut generously and the sacks fit loosely overall. I don't use them during the warmest months but once the weather cools, they don't get sweaty in them (I typically use cotton pajamas underneath). They do have blankets... waffle weave with the requisite satin edge. Their blankets are for snuggling purposes only; they don't like to be covered.
