Okay, does it make me a bad mommy that my kids are lying down watching cartoons and I'm LOVING IT! They seem so young to put in front of the TV but they're cooing and smiling and I'm actually EATING! I feel so guilty!

Could be worse. I came home the other night and DH was eating dinner watching "Tombstone" with both babies gazing on with interest as the cowboy is screaming bloody murder in a gunfight. Great.

the only rule we followed at that age was "do what works!" sounds like you've mastered it :)

PP is right, enjoy it! My guys love Elmo and the Price is Right, I don't feel guilty at all! They are learning how to comparison shop!!! And there are numbers and colors on the big wheel, dangit! It's educational!

 :rotflmbo: I don't think I have ever seen where someone posted 'The Price is Right' as their babes fav. show. Everyone is right. Enjoy it all you can! It won't be long when you can't eat anymore b/c they want what is on your plate.

Oh - this is great! I love it. My girls started watching TV at that age too and I was SO paranoid! But like the others, I got over it because yes! It allowed me to eat a semi-warm meal. I live by Baby Einstein videos now too. My girls love the neighborhood animal one and the baby mozart one too. They literally squeal at them! they sit in their swings and watch - this is when I'm able to take my shower before work - single mom- also - they love the backyardigans. a cartoon. I look back before I had children and thought - I'd never let my child watch that much TV etc. blah blah blah - do what works to make Mom happy!! that's my motto now! Haven't tried the price is right yet....
