I feel terrible, I put my coffee down on the floor (dumb I know), just for a second while I put my son in his bumbo, and then I heard dd screaming, i turn around and in like 2 seconds she crawled across the floor and was sitting in my hot coffee!! She spilt it all over and was sitting in the middle of it. I grabbed her up and held her, checked her over really well, her hands are a little bit red, but she seems to be fine. Ok, that was my warning, coffee cup can NEVER go on the floor again, not even for a second!
I felt sooo bad, that was the first time that something I had done hurt one of my children. I am usually so careful!

It is crazy how it takes two seconds. Glad she is okay!

 Everything to keep babies safe is a moving target. Yesterday coffee on the floor was fine, today nope, tomorrow, make sure its up high because they might pull up on the table to get it! Don't beat yourself up about it and I'm glad she is ok.

I think we've all had a Bad Mommy moment (or more than a few, really!). Its just part of being a mom - we learn as we go! Don't be too hard on yourself - she's fine and now you know you can't leave coffee on the floor!

Don't feel too bad, we have all done things like this.

Last week I wasn't paying attention when I run Amelia's bath. I felt the water once, but that was it until I put her in it. As soon as I put her in the tub and saw the experssion of terror on her face I knew something was wrong and pulled her out right away. The water was super hot!! Then b/c I pulled her out of the water she peed on me! I had just taken a shower! Ugh, it was such a bad day and I felt so bad for putting my baby in hot water, I was just super tired. Also, I didn't screw the lid on their bottles tight enough one morning (again, b/c of exhaustion) and so when they went to feed themselves the formula spilled out all over them.

hun we all make mistakes. As the others said one day its fine to put your coffee there the next day it's not. I am glad she is fine. My husband was playing with DS when he was about 2 or 3 (he is 11 now) and DS was on Hubby's lap and jumping off when Hubby decided to give him a bit of a lift, DS went flying through the air and landed nose first into the ground. The poor kid has had non stop nose bleeds since then. It still bleeds at a drop of a hat.

:grouphug: These things happen to all of us! The important thing is that she is fine. If it makes you feel any better I have heard a lot worse!

Thanks all, I do feel better, I guess accidents happen. But I am still going to be extra careful in the future!
