Yesterday I was trying to rush out the door to head over to my younger sister's softball game. The girls were CRABBY, they hadn't napped at all, they were following me everywhere just crying and wanting me to hold them. I was trying to get my makeup on and get dressed while getting all of their stuff together. I went to change Sophia and she had peed through her diaper all over her new outfit I had just put on her. Ugh! Can you say frustrated? Not only that but I had just come off a week of taking care of my "three" babies since DP had strep throat, and we all know how men can act when they are sick. I wanted to just cry...

So Sophia is crying and crying, I hand her a cracker to maybe settle her down until we leave and she was crying so much she started gagging and PUKED all over the kitchen floor. Anyone who knows me knows that I am DEATHLY terrified of puke. The only time one of the girls threw up was about a yr ago and DP cleaned it up. So I cleaned it up (GAG!), my first time ever cleaning up my girls' puke, it was like a milestone for me, lol!

By this point I decided not to even go, I just didn't feel like driving all the way out there to have them be crabby. I ended up going to MIL's instead (they live about 5 minutes away) and the girls played there and then I took them to the park for an hr or so. DP got home from work and we went out to eat and then grocery shopping. It was nice to get out and they were perfect angels the rest of the day (Thankfully!).

Anyways, thanks for letting me vent, I needed it after this week. Hopefully today will be better 8)

[SIZE=10pt]I'm sorry you had such a bad day! I always hate that when I get a new outfit on the twins and they get messed up before we walk out the door. It sounds like things got better at the end. The park is always fun for them isn't it??

Sorry you had such a bad day. It is very frustrating when everything goes bad at once. sounds like a smart move to just stay home and it paid off at the end since they were good for you the rest of the day.

Blah, I'm sorry. It stinks when stuff like that happens. Ainsley has thrown up in the car a few times (of course, on our way to something) and it just such a mess. Glad the rest of the day got better.
