Bad DADDY moment!

Everyone's sharing their bad mommy moments so I thought I would share my DF's bad daddy moment! On Sunday, we were at his fathers house and he was getting ready to put Austin down for a nap in the pac-n-play. While he was setting up the playyard, he had set Austin on the bed with blankets and pillows all around him. He crawled up and over the pillows and did a face plant off the bed and onto the floor! He split the inside of the his lip open, but we weren't sure where it was coming from. The blood was evderywhere!! He felt so awful!! Poor guy.... But everything turned out fine, he ended up with a fat lip and a bruise :cray: My poor baby!!

Thanks for that.... I keep telling him hes not a bad daddy and he says I'm biased because I love him so much.... lol.... Its good for him to hear it from someone else.....

Then you can hear it from someone else as well - he is not a bad daddy. Accidents just happen sometimes, no matter how hard we try to make them not happen. Glad everyone is ok, relatively speaking. :hug99:

 

Yep, not a bad daddy! :hug99: for the bruising and swelling - and for the bad daddy feelings.

 

He is a good daddy actually. He tried to prevent an accident by placing pillows and blankets around the bed. And he feels very bad about it. He is a good daddy.

 

If he is a bad daddy, then I am a TERRIBLE mommy. On Saturday morning Kaylyn woke up and I brought her into my bed to feed her a bottle, well I fell asleep and she rolled all the way to the other side of the bed and fell flat on the floor. I woke up to a loud thump! It was awful...

And to the OP accidents happen and hes not a bad daddy! Now you heard it from me too

 

It happens to all of us at one point or another. (Then we spend a crazy amount of time beating ourselves up...) Let it go!

Oh my....this happened to me on Sunday with my son....I felt horrible!

:hug99: Accidents happen. The one and only time M fell off our bed it was on DH's watch. He felt TERRIBLE, but she was fine. That was a year ago and he still talks about it.
