I figure with all the topics about back to school, we can post good deals here to help each other out.

Mine is that we found backpacks at a place I didn't figure on. Both boys picked out backpacks, lunchbags and pencil cases at the Children's Place today. Total for all 6 items: $54! I consider that a deal since I was planning on having to spend $30 each for the backpacks alone!

Old Navy has 25% off for Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic cardholders through today. I bought stuff for DS1, his friend, and a few shirts for myself ;) We got 20 items for $170 and free shipping. I actually used a gift card so it ended up being $120. Yeah!!!

DS is starting middle school, the school has 3 groups called houses, each with their own list of supplies. We won't find out until Aug,(although we have strong suspiscions) what house he'll be in. The school gave us the lists for each house, the list for ALL middleschoolers, and the list for art. They recc. buying stuff on sale and returning the stuff you don't need.
So that's 5 lists for DS1, and a list for each of the others. Between the 5 lists, there's a lot of overlap, so it's not as bad as it sounds.)
So, yes, I'm thinking school supplies already. (Out of necessity)
I got backpacks -- they seem sturdy-- on sale, and now am looking for lunchboxes for the younger ones.

I was at WalMart today. They have the 24 count boxes of Crayola crayons for $.25. They have the folders for $.15. They also had the 24 count box of Ticonderoga pencils for $2. They weren't through putting stuff out, but it looked like the big stock-up sale was beginning.

    Thanks, Marissa!

In addition to the crayons and folders, I picked up glue sticks at Walmart tonight. They were 25 cents for a 2 pack--of course I needed 8 packs--but got them for a total of $2!

    Let's keep 'em coming!

OMG I cant believe I actually have to start this again this year ! Lucky for me, I work at Walmart and I dont have far to go to pick up most of the things I need. School clothes will be a whole other venture ... I'll probably go to Childrens Place.
I havent gotten a list yet .. I'm kinda scared to see it !

Oh, I got composition books today at Target for 50 cents each! By far, Walmart is the best for glue, Target comes close to Walmart for the crayons at 30 cents a pack.
