For me it was about finding the right position to lay/sit in that stopped the pain. At night it was about how many pillows I could stuff around me! The pillows has helped the most, even now in the Hospital I have at least 4 pillows surrounding me.

Warm shower and baths as well will help a lot.
:youcandoit: Hang in there! You're getting closer. :)

i was also going to suggest applying heat - do you have one of those bags with rice/beans/etc in it that you can heat in the microwave? those things are lovely because they'll form to your back.

also, do you see a massage therapist or a chiropractor? i went to mine weekly towards the end of my pregnancy & found it really helpful.

This was the only thing that helped for me as well. :good: I also agree with the heat. I hope you get some relief soon! That back pain was the worst!!

I used heat and ice alternating and also saw a chiropractor AND I made my dh rub it every night!!
I hope you can find something that works so you can get some rest!!
    Good luck!! :grouphug:

My back starting killing me at 27 weeks. I'm now 29 weeks and for the past 2 weeks I've been seeing a chiropractor for physical therapy 3 times weekly, using a heating pad while witting up on the couch at night and having my husband give me a back rub before bedtime. Other than that, I found that I can't sit up in a chair anymore - I have to sit on the couch with a pillow stuffed behind my back. I pretty much do everything in this position except sleeping. Good luck!
