Baby Wraps?

Hi everyone,

My B/G twins are one month today! They are growing like weeds - I'm guessing they are both over 9 lbs and DS2 is probably close to 10 lbs! I'm finding it's more difficult to carry both twins at once AND they are becoming a bit more demanding of "cuddle time". I'd love to find a wrap/sling that allows me to have my hands free...an added bonus would be having access to nursing while in the sling. Does anyone have any suggestions for a baby wrap when you have twins? I have a Baby Bjorn, which I loved for walks, etc. with my DS1, but I'm wondering if a sling would work better.

I used my moby with the twins in it for months! LOVED IT

 

I have a ring sling (a maya wrap) that I've had since my twins were babies. It came with a video showing how to carry twins in it--but I didn't love carrying them both in there. I needed help to get them both in, and if I had help, well then that person would just carry one baby! I did use it to carry one at a time. And with my singlton, I've used it all the time. I loved carrying him as a newborn in there and would nurse him in there all the time while doing something else--using the computer, making a sandwich, hanging out the laundry, grocery shopping, etc.
However, if Moby wraps had been around when I was pregnant with twins, that's what I would have got instead.

 

I LOVE my Moby Wrap.

I still use it with the girls (one at a time) to get them in and out of places when I can't use the stroller (one in the wrap one in my arms) and during the day to alternate the fussy (or fussier ) one.

 

I just purchased the Twintrexx baby carrier and it works GREAT! My twins are 4 months old and they love it (and my arms finally get a break!) It also detaches into two single carriers - I also have tried the single baby bjorn and the snuggli and I still like this one much better!
