    Hi ladies!

We just got our SNG today and were trying to get it adjusted to fit our Snugrides but we're having issues getting the seats to fit according to the instructions. I was hoping someone would be able to help us out! [IMG]

We removed all the bars and only have these bars in these locations:

for the front- bar A1 (or the "kinked" bar) in hole 1
bar D (or the handle shaped bar) in hole 7
and the straps in hole 5

for the rear- the kinked bar is in hole 2
and then every other bar has been removed and we just have the straps in hole 5.

It didn't say to remove bars BT1 or BT2, but they're not drawn in the picture for the Snugride, and they seemed to be in the way, so despite the lack of instruction to do so, we did indeed remove them.

At BRU, I placed a Snugride in the single snap n go and it locked beautifully into the frame- nice secure, lock, clicked into place and everything. Now, when I place my snugride into the frame it just kinda sits on the bars loosely and doesn't lock at all really. I guess I can fasten the straps tightly, but it just doesn't seem that secure. I guess I haven't personally been able to use or see a double in use... so maybe that's the way it's supposed to go?? [IMG] But it just doesn't seem right at all. Are we doing something wrong??

Anyways, I figured y'all might be of better help than calling Baby Trend so I'm coming here first! [IMG] Thanks so much in advance!! We really appreciate it!

I had the same problem.....the directions that come with the cart are not right for the snug rides. I know you have to remove one of the bars it tells you to install...a middle bar (I forget which one). I called the company and they told me which one to remove.
    Good luck!

I also had to remove another bar that was in the middle, looks like you may have done that. I also had to strap the seats on with the straps. But it seemed to work fine for me. I would call BabyTrend if you are still having trouble! Congrats on births of your boys!

I had called the company also and was also told the directions are wrong. The rep was very nice and helped me. I would just call them.

I had exactly the same problem but didn't think to call the company! I got so frustrated I gave up and put it on craig's list because it didn't seem safe with the snugrides. They were really loose. I broke down and bought a duoglider instead, which I am very happy with. But no one has bought the snap n go yet, so I may give it another shot!

You know I have the sngride and I think it seems too loose also. he red part is latched but it seems to move from side to side.

I called the company and they told me the snugrides don't actually snap in. I was so furious, they shouldn't advertise it that way. She told me to just make sure to use the straps. Did you try the baby trend single snap n go or the graco snap n go in the store? I've heard the graco one is much more secure but they don't make a double version. I have the baby trend single and it doesn't really snap into that one either. It hasn't been a problem though, I just use the straps and we haven't had any issues.

I htink mine only snaps in at the back (u like bumps) and is free at the front if that makes sense. So if I'm doing rugged walking, I strap the front, if I'm jus tin a store, I leave them unstrapped (bad mommy) but I hate the extra steps.

I think that's the way it works though. of couse, mine is donw in the car and I can't look at it right now.

  11. You know when I got the snap and go that is the one thing I hated was that the snug ride did not just snap in. I mean I like the stroller and its light weight but strapping it all the time is a pain in the butt.
