Baby Trend Snap & Go

I have the opportunity to purchase the snap and go frame from baby trend at about $60 2nd hand, supposedly never used. I was looking into this model, and have one Graco safeseat from my first daughter so I thought I can buy another safe seat and use the double snap and go. Has anyone used these two specific models and if so (or if just the snap and go), is this a worthy necessity? The price is about 2/3 the cost, but buying 2nd hand means you miss out on return options, etc. Would love any feedback around!

 

One of my really good friends went the SNG route, and she was super happy with it. If I could do it again, I would have done that in a heartbeat over buying the duoglider. I hated my duoglider as an actual stroller (way too big, heavy and cumbersome), but I did use it when they were still in their infant carriers. Once they were big enough to sit in the stroller I bought a SBS and it is way better. I could have saved myself a lot of money if I would have went with the SNG from the beginning.

 

The snap n go looks awesome. We are considering that one too! the others seem hard to fit two carseats in! As far as a double stroller for when they get bigger.... not sure what to do!
Does anyone have advice on those? Are the side by sides too hard to manuever through a store???

 

We have the Snap n Go and plan to use it until the girls are out of their infant seats. We were given it from a friend that had twins and they purchased it at a 2nd hand store. No telling how many families it has been through, but it still looks like new condition. This was the best option for us since it will fit well in the back of our car and still leave room for some groceries.

 

I don't think the safe seats are compatible with the snap n go. I contacted baby tred when I had my twins and they told me that the snap n go was compatible with the regular graco seat, but not the safe seat due to the bigger weight limit. We got other car seats and used a snap n go and absolutely loved it.

 

We have a snap and go its wonderful easy to use!!! I had a duo glider i hated it

 

We got a sng and it was really nice for the time they were in the infant carseats. I'd say check online for the instruction manual and see which car seats work. There are different little bars to put on for different types of infant seats. Did you get these? If not maybe you can buy them directly from Baby Trends.

I used it with two graco safe seats. The only thing I would be careful about is that when you assemble the snap and go there are slight variations in the assembly depending on the car seat you are using. If I were you I would take the seat you have and try to fit in on the snap and go. If it works then you are fine.

If you lived a little closer, I'd sell you mine for less. You'll probably only use it for a few months anyways.

 

The sng is great for when they are small and not able to sit up. It's a must have IMO
