I am actually expecting twins but I figured you moms of twins who have these might be able to answer this question.
We just received a Baby trend double snap and go. We have put it together and put our Graco snugride car seats in it to see how it works etc. The front seat (one far from where you push) seems to be very snug in there, but the back seat (one closest to the cup holders/push area) doesn't seem to fit as tightly. Is that normal/okay? I called the 1-800 number for Baby Trend and they weren't that helpful. They told me that it won't "snap" in with the Graco snugrides, and that the strap is what will keep it secure. I tightened the strap some, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this. Maybe I am just paranoid. I have visions of my baby popping out onto cement or something...

Um, I'm going back a couple years, but I had the Snap n Go, and the Graco Snug Rides and they both snapped in for sure! I wouldn't rely on just the strap!

I have the baby trend sng with snug rides and both of mine snap in tightly. double check that the middle bars are in the correct positions. GL with the rest of your pregnancy!

This is the same combo we're currently using and the backseat is quite snug. i would not rely on just the strap. Are you sure the bars are configured correctly?

Ditto the other posts. I have the Snugrides and they definitely both "Snap" into place. I'd double check that you have the bars configured correctly.

I know DH swore up a storm when putting ours together!!

are you using the older blue one or the new black one? We have the older blue one- and no, they don't "snap." YOu HAVE to use the straps. Also make sure you've got the correct bars in place. I freaked out too when mine didn't "snap" but w/ the straps, I've never felt like they weren't secure. WE used it over 7 months w/out an issue. HTH

Mine doesn't "snap" either, but I think (I can't remember right now, I'd have to be looking at it), mine is opposite of what you said. The one closest to the cup holders does snap, but the other one doesn't. I have to almost angle it in to get the hook of the car seat to catch on the bar. With the straps, though, they're definitely not going anywhere. I've had them in it without the straps for limited times (took one out and forgot to set the strap when I put him back in, or wasn't going very far, etc.) and it's been okay. In general, though, I do make sure to use the straps.

I hope that made sense! Good luck - the double stroller is a necessary evil at times. :)

I definitely have the bars in the right place (that was the first thing that customer service made me check). I think I have new one ....it was manufactured in July and looks almost black (maybe navy....sometimes I can't tell). I guess I will have my DH look at it some more and see if there is anything we can do to make it "snap"
