Baby Shower

When is the best time to have a baby shower?

 

I'm having mine at 28 weeks, which actually makes me nervous. Originally, I wanted it at 25 weeks, but that will put me right around Christmas.

I think most have theirs before 30 weeks - just in case, and also for comfort!

 

Mine was scheduled for 28 weeks 2 days, and my girls were born the day before the shower. I was on hospital bedrest, so I wasn't going to be able to go either way. Thankfully I have a great DH who stood in for me. I would say the earlier the better. This was my first pregnancy and it was really hard not being there for my shower.

 

I had mine this past weekend at 27 weeks and 5 days!

I am having my first shower around 28 weeks and my last one at 32 weeks. I sure hope everything goes okay and I'm able to have them.

I told my best friend - she may be helping me open gifts at my last shower. We'll just have to wait and see how big I get.

 

I would say before 30 wks. I had mine at 27wks, while on hospital bed rest.

Mine happened at 30 weeks and it was a surprise (luckily I did not go into labor right there!)

 

Mine will be this weekend and I will be 28 weeks exactly-

I will be having mine around 28 weeks too. Looks like a lot of us are doing it about the same time. THAT'S REASSURING

 

I would say before 28 weeks. That is a common turning point for pregnant MOMS and many get very tired and easily exhausted after that.

 

The earlier the better definately before 30 weeks. I had mine at 34 weeks and was miserable. I was so swollen the next day I didn't get out of bed.

 

Mine is Sunday! I'll be 32 weeks & 5 days.
Keep in mind, I still work full time and am not on any sort of bed rest, etc.
If so- I probably would of had it earlier

 

I'm having mine at 24 weeks which puts me at the first weekend in December. I just didn't want to miss it or be miserable. Good luck!

 

I'd love to have mine around 28 weeks, but that's at Christmas for me too. I think we're shooting for right after the holidays (Jan. 5th ?). I'll be 30 weeks then, so we'll see what happens. I just pray every day that the babies stay in a good long time and that I don't have to go on bedrest!

 

Mine was at 32 weeks.

My best present....We had a calendar for people to sign up to bring my family hot dinners. We had 3 meals a week brought to us the first month, 2 a week the second month and 1 a week the third month.

Priceless!!!

 

Mine is this Saturday! I'll be 32 weeks 4 days! We've really had no complications and I never even expected to have a shower. I haven't had one since my first child 22 years ago so this to me is a real blessing.

 

im having my dec 1st which i will be 25weeks about and im happy i am doing it then, because i want to be comfortable as well as make sure i have plenty of time to get anything i still need before they come. ppl with singletons think i am crazy because i am having it so early but they dont understand that twins are different. hope i have a good turn out

 

I must be the only one who wants nothing to do with a shower, but being forced into it and not happy about it at all.
