Baby shower yesterday!

I finally had my baby shower yesterday :laughing: I was so worried I would not make it to my own baby shower, but I did and I got so many things!! I got mainly big stuff and only a few pairs of clothes :icon_biggrin: I got the crib, pack and play, both car seats, double stroller, two bassinets, changing table, both bouncers, the bath tub, and a ton of little things i was very happy!! THe only bad was half of the people I invited didn't show which kinda hurts your feelings, with the birth of you twins being so important I figured everyone would feel the same way oh well..So my mom thought we should do half of the games and then do presents. So we did most of the less fun quicker games first and then everyone left after presents :angry: We did not even play the other half of the fun ones!! I put so much time and effort into those and money for the gifts for the winners I was a little bummed..I guess it was my fault for having so many games! All in all it was real good only lasted about 2 hours was that the norm for everyone else's?

 

Glad you had a good shower! Half of your guest list is the expected normal! Keep in mind it is vacation season!!! Don't take it personal. My guys are 7 months old and we are still recieving gifts for them!

I had mine last weekend and it lasted about 2.5 hours but we didn't play games because I just had one last year (same friend threw it)for my DD and so I thought we could skip the games this time around. We ate, socialized, opened gifts, cut the cake and then some people started leaving at that point. I was very excited to get ALL of our big stuff too-we do not need anything else. We only got about 6-7 packs of sleepers and onesies too. I was thankful because I made a mistake and registered at Target again (should've learned last time!!) and cannot return any of the sleepers etc. We have so many in the newborn size we will never use them all. I am going to leave them in the packs and regift them because I know about 8 people who are pregnant right now and so far 4 know they are having boys.
