baby shower yesterday

My mom and sister threw me a baby shower yesterday, and between them and my friends, this is what we got:

2 car seats
Duoglider
Pack 'n Play
2 swings
2 bouncy seats
1 Jumparoo
2 Bumbos
Diaper Champ
TONS of clothes, bottles, towels, accessories, diapers , and wipes

I could not believe it! We are pretty much set!

 

Sounds like you got a lot of good stuff that you need. And most of them are big ticket items or items that add up. Way to go!!!

Wow! That's great! I hope we are that lucky! About how many people did you have at your shower? I want to do the "bring a package of diapers and be entered into a raffle" idea. My friend's SIL had twins and she did it-and she didn't have to buy diapers for a YEAR! It sounds enticing!!!

 

We don't have baby showers here in the UK, I wish they would catch on though- they sound great!

 

Hope you had a nice time celebrating your additions to the family. Sounds like your friends and family were very generous, I am sure they are as excited as you are about the babies!

Thanks ladies! We had about 20 people at the shower, everyone just pitched in together to get us the big stuff.

Wohooo..... nice haul. I just found out that I will be getting a baby shower for the girls. I really wasn't expecting one, but am super excited. Now if they will just stay put till the end of july.

WOW, you did hit the jackpot. I was told this weekend that I'm having a shower. I wasn't expecting one, but I'm grateful that my sisters are doing it. I have nothing left in my house related to a baby, cuz I wasn't suppose to have anymore.

Congrats. I just set up my registry and have to go and start scanning, My bf and aunt are planning it for sept. 22. Lots of luck and you made a home run with all those gifts!

 

Wow that is awesome, I hope I do as well at my showers. I'm worried that I won't though, so we have started to buy some things so that we won't have to come up with a large sum of money right before they are born.
