Baby Shower Hostess Gifts

Do you give the hostess of your baby shower a gift as a thank you for pulling it all together?? If so, any ideas on what to give?

 

I am going to give hostess gifts. Showers are expensive and a lot of work, so I want them to know I appreciate it all. I'll probably do a Thank you note with some kind of Bath and Body Works type gift set, or candles.

 

I did give a hostess gift for my showers, and my friends have done the same for me when I've thrown them a shower.

The first one, I gave the hostess a Willow Tree Angel. I think it was the Angel of Friendship? The second one was hosted by four of my friends, so I found them each a small gift that was similar though not exactly the same. I gave them each a really pretty pearl and crystal cross than hung on a stand. I think they were maybe $10 each at a gift shop. I was given a manicure and pedicure and a Willow Tree Angel when I hosted.

 

Mine isn't until March 29th but I think that it's appropriate to give the hostess a thank you token.
