Baby shower favors

Just hoping one of you out there has any ideas about some shower favors...looking for something not too expensive...
I had thought the candy bar wrapper thing was cute & easy...

Buy packs of doublemint gum and put the an address label on one side that says the ...(last name) Twins coming soon! That was one of my favors, seed packets like two peas in a pod thing you can put the label on these as well

 

My sister is throwing my shower and doing a 'two peas in a pod' theme. So, she bought a bunch of cheap green bath fizzies, and she's wrapping them, two at a time, in green cellophane, and tieing them off at both ends so they resemble 'peas in a pod.' I think it's cute.

 

My shower didn't have a twin theme per say but my hostess bought umbrellas (dollar store variety, I think) and tied little bags which had a few pieces of candy and a small picture frame in them. The picture frame would hold a wallet size picture. She told me that I would then need to send everyone a picture when the babies arrive to put in the frame.

My friend who had a shower not too long ago had little doll baby bottles and filled them with mini M&M's, that was more expensive though.

My mom did several for my shower but a really cute one was a teabag wrapped up in tuling that said "Twins Are A Brewing". It was a big hit. We did the doublemint gum one and also used a plastic spoon with two hersheys kisses wrapped in tuling and a note that said " Kisses from the Gray babies"

 

I've heard the Doublemint gum idea before and I really like that one! Have fun at your shower!

 

I had several great party favors but the one that was a big hit and people found useful was - 2 tealight candles wrapped in Tulic with a Twin verse. If you're interested in the Twin verse PM and I'll send it to you. (Sorry, I don't have it with me right now, I'm at work. LOL!) :lol:

 

Wilton has mini baby bottles, and I filled them with pink and blue m&m's that I ordered online that you could personalize...I had the twins names printed on them...

 

I did the two peas and a pod, candy bar wrapper thing, it was easy cute and affordable, It also had alot of little favors to go with it too, it came out really nice.
