What are you doing with old baby shoes? Can you sell them? I hate to throw them away, some are barely worn. I can't believe they have only been wearing shoes for maybe 6 months and I already have like 4-5 pairs of outgrown shoes! I stupidly threw away the unused footboards to their Preschoolians, so I'm not sure if I could sell those shoes. Of course, those were the most expensive too.

All you guys told me not to buy used baby shoes [IMG] -- but I am still going to try to sell mine at a yard sale or something, assuming they're in decent shape. (Sarah's See Kai Run's are already trashed and she hasn't even outgrown them yet. [IMG]) I believe it's not ideal, but since it's not a serious safety issue (like used carseats or bike helmets or something), I don't have a moral problem with offering them to someone who might want them.

Sell them or give them away. There are a lot of people who can't afford new. As long as they are cleaned up, maybe use Lysol, I don't see a problem with used shoes. We have a few pair and it's saved us money I needed for other things.

I give them to family or sell them at a yard sale. As long as someone will buy them, I will sell them.

I have boy/girl twins so my hand me downs go to my niece and nephew. The shoes that they have outgrown, are barley even worn. They just started actually "wearing" their shoes to walk a few months ago. Up until then, they were carried everywear, so there was no wear on the shoes. So I say sell them or in my case hand them down to someone who could use them.

I am assuming you are not planning on having more children. But if you are just throw them in a box and use them next time around.

Do you have a consignment shop or 2nd hand resale shop you could sell them too? We have several infant & kid resale shops in our area that buy used clothes, shoes, toys, equipment, etc. and re-sell them.

I really don't think we are having any more children, so I think I'm going to do a sweep through the house anyway and take a bunch of stuff to the consignment shop, including the shoes. Some are almost new.

They grew out of them so fast at that early age that I saved ours. I bought them all in gender neutral designs so that they could be used with another boy or girl. Since Ainsley and Sierra only wore shoes outside and they grew out of them within a couple of months I'm not worried about the shoes being too molded to their feed to use with another baby.

I always end up giving mine away. Someone around here is always expecting or has a baby coming up behind mine that can use them.
