baby lo 2.5 needs tubes in his ears

It will be OK - all my kids have them and all of done great. The surgery lasts a few minutes - I was always more upset than they were. Once tubes were in there were no more ear infections and they seemed healthier.

Now, I have to have my oldest son tubes removed because it has not fallen out yet - has been over 2 years now. One is in and one is out.

 

I had tubes implanted around 40 years ago. Don't remember anything. Had my hearing tested recently and its still A OK.

 

My oldest ds has one set, mitchell has 2 and Kenna has 3 sets... I had a set put in 10 yrs ago..makes such a HUGE difference!!! You will be so glad you did it!!

 

It will be fine!! My DD is on set #2!! She is much healthier with them in.

 

My boys got tubes 6 weeks ago. He will do GREAT and you will notice a difference in his hearing and his mood- happier!

I will say a prayer that it goes quick and easy, like it usually does! It's much harder for Mama than for the kids!

 

My older son had 7 sets, and thank God no more need for them. The twins are both on their first set. Matthew who had such a rough start, did great with it. Michael too, but he had some tummy trouble waking up. But within an hour he was fine.
