    Hi ladies -
I have been agonizing over this decision! Please help me!

I go for power walk almost every morning with my boys, but do not jog or run. I want a stroller that is easy to push, has great sun shades, and is comfortable for my boys. We are an "outdoorsy" family, and would like the stroller to do well being pushed through grass or off the beaten path if necessary.

I already have a double umbrella stroller with reclining seats for use at the mall, shopping, etc, so this stroller doesn't have to be small. I've given up on the idea of only having 1 stroller.

So what do you think, the baby jogger city classic is on sale for 399 right now, will it do the job? I've never been able to see or push one in person. A friend of mine has the double bob revolution, and I do love it, easy to push, etc. Since I don't jog, do I really need it? Will the baby jogger do the job? I hate ordering something off the internet that I haven't seen before! Thanks for your help!

I have the bob revolution to and I love it. I have never seen nor tried the baby jogger. What I would suggest is googling the baby jogger stroller reviews and see what people have to say about them. This is how I made my decision between the valco and the bob.

I have the bjcs and loved it. It was a tad heavy though. AFter I bought it, they came out with the mini! 10 pounds lighter! I wish I had that one!

I have the Baby Jogger City Classic, and I LOVE it. It's so easy to push. I actually just got it a few months ago, close to when my twins turned 2.

Before that, I had an Inglesina Twin Swift that we used for everything, but I have huge children, and they outgrew it -- it was impossible to push with their combined weight.

I decided on the BJCCD because it has a lot of head room for tall children -- since my 2-year-olds are nearly the size of 4-year-olds, that was important.

We don't jog, either, so I didn't need a true jogger. This one more than does the job.

I know what you mean about ordering it sight unseen, though. I had to do the same thing, but I got it from joggingstroller.com, which offers "return shipping insurance" for a flat rate if you need to ship it back. Totally worth it!

I ended up buying the Baby Jogger City Classic and love it. What clinched it for me was the fact that there are 2 front wheels instead of one, so it gives a little more stability as opposed to a single front wheel. If one wheel comes off the ground, there's another still there (uneven pavement, curbs, etc).

I'd do the Baby Jogger again in a moment. If only I waited a few months, as I paid $600 for mine!!

We have the Baby Jogger City Mini and love it. It's not a jogging stroller despite the name (I knew that going in though; we don't jog), so just make sure the classic is! ;) That sounds like a GREAT price for the classic!

You might consider the BOB sport utility stroller if you're really going off-roading with it. It's fabulous. The front wheel is fixed, though, which may be an issue for you if you're going to use it for anything other than power walking and off-roading.

For those that have the Baby Jogger City Classic, do you ever use it in Target, the mall, etc? We would prefer to just have ONE stroller for shopping and walking on a trail near our house (it's paved a trail though so the terrain isn't that rough, but we would like a smooth ride for our boys). The reviews of the BJCC are really good and I'm leaning towards that one, even though it is 33 lbs. The City Mini is only 26 lbs, but it just has standard 8" wheels when the BJCC's 12" wheels seem like they would make for a smoother ride on the trail. As for taking the BJCC out shopping, since it is only 29.75" wide and a standard door is 32" wide, I'm hoping it would work for that too. Just wondering if anybody out their uses their BJCC for shopping, and if it works out ok for that.

My twins aren't here yet, but I got a Phil and Teds ($300 on Craig's List) based on recommendations from several friends who used it for two singletons. I've seen first-hand that it does great on trails, and I've been told it works well for shopping, etc. Although the manufacturer doesn't recommend it for twins, I have heard from twin moms online who thought it worked fine. I plan to wait until they're 4 months to use it on pavement (walking, I'm not a jogger), and 6 or so months for trails.

I do use my BJCCD at the mall and at Target, all the time. But, you can't really go into Gymboree or similar small stores with it...the aisles are too narrow. However, they're really too narrow for any SBS stroller.

I even braved the buy-one, get-one half off sale at Stride Rite with it, during tax free weekend. The store was so packed that I had to park the stroller -- complete with cranky kids! -- at the front corner of the store, leave my 5-year-old to entertain them, and quickly go look for shoes.

    It worked, though.

We take our BJCC to the mall all the time, and it fits into the larger stores without any problem. The only issue is when trying to go into the 'boutique' stores - gymboree, etc... where space is at a premium and they have to cram a bunch of stuff in there. It won't fit in every single area, but then again, if I can't go in a store with them, it means I won't be spending a ton of money!! :) :)

Thanks for all of the great replies! I actually ordered a BJCC just this morning from Albee Baby online for $399 plus free shipping. Other websites offered the BJCC for $399 too, but either they added shipping (Amazon) or they only had it in red (diapers.com) or they were out of stock. I got the grey and black one. Can't wait for it to get here!!
