Just wondering...can I actually jog with these strollers too?
If you have one of these which one and do you like it?

  2. I posed the same question a while back and got lots of feedback on the In-Step Safari Double Jogger. It seems like it is an economy model, but gets the job done. There is a pretty good website www.joggingstrollers.com where you can compare by features and also get product reviews. The only negatives I saw were that it is a little short for taller joggers and a little heavier because it has a steele frame. Babies R Us and JoggingStrollers both have the In-Step Safari Double Jogger for $269, but WalMart has the same one for $179 online right now and will ship to your local store for free. If you don't like it you just return it to the store. No shipping charges. I just ordered mine, so I can't comment, besides the research I have done.

    Hi,
I have the city mini. I checked on the baby jogger website to compare the measurements. I picked the city mini because it is smaller, lighter and narrower. I believe the city elite is made for running. The city mini states it is not made for running. I've used it for light jogging on even surfaces and it worked fine. If you are a serious runner, the city elite is probably better.
In general, the city mini is a great every day stroller. Plus you can use it for all terrain activities. I don't have any problems fitting through doors in public with the city mini. HTH, Beth

I love this stroller...the sun shade is short and it has no cup holders, but other than that I really love it. I wish I had gotten it a while ago. I don't have any experience with the other strollers though...

We have the baby jogger city elite and I LOVE it...it was expensive (thankfully a gift) so it's my only stroller now that we're out of the double snapNgo. It's a little bulky to carry. It folds REALLY easily, but only in half so it's still pretty big. It fits in the trunk of my jetta no problem, squeezes through most doors no problem, has great sun shades - one for each baby that can go down three levels and has little clear openings so you can adjust it for any situation, and it's great for walking or jogging. It has two swivel wheels in the front which is great because it turns on a dime, where some of my friends have double joggers with one straight wheel in the front and they have to lift up to turn. It doesn't have a snack tray, but that doesn't bother me yet! HTH!

I also have the City Elite and I love it. I haven't used it to run with yet because my twins are still little (13 weeks) but when they get a little bigger I plan on it. Mine has just one swivel wheel in the front and it can stay in a fixed position or swivel based on your needs. The stroller is super easy to maneuver. It's great! Very pricey, but totally worth the $$ IMO!

I have it too and LOVE it! It does have a snack tray(s) but you have to buy them separately and attach to the bar!!!

    Just looking for opinions...

The Elite seems so *HUGE*, but I love the wheels and all the other extras are nice too. I like the size of the Mini, but I'm worried about how it will handle on city streets and in the snow/rain/ice.

My boys are almost 3 months and we're using the DSNG (I hate it) but looking to upgrade.

For those of you with the Mini, do you have any problems in the winter or over rough terrian?

For those of you with the Elite, is it worth the extra $, is the size hard to negotiate in small stores?

    TIA!

I don't know what I was thinking when I said that it had one swivel wheel in the front. It clearly has two!
